The couple of this empty-ghosle from California turned to designer Lori Ramsay to help re-form the original white kitchen in the Mediterranean House of the wife located in the San Diego Master-Plan community. His goal was to honor the fundamental memories by improving work, storage and style in 125-class foot space. Ramsay maintained the original footprint mostly, but raised the design with white and wood cabinet, brass hardware, and Countertops and a backplash in striking White granite With bold vining and forest green crystal. A new peninsula adds storage, seating and a workstation sink, while the pre-breakfast area now has a glamorous bar in glass-and-blame.

First: Almost all-white kitchen included a small peninsula, white tools, white solid-satt counter and basic cabinetry without hardware. A coov sealing was added to the dated look. Ramsay says, “Kov sealing was something that I wanted to remove, but the budget will not allow it.”
While the layout created an efficient work triangle between the sink, range and refrigerator, a small microwave above the boundary lacks proper ventilation, and the heavy refrigerator gathered in the walkway. Ramsay says, “The kitchen works very well.” “The primary concern was that the whole thing was dated and there was no style. The taste of this homeowner is very good and the dated kitchen did not reflect her personality.” The wood-lime laminate floor offered a visual break from all white, but was worn and designed for replacement.
The roof color (neutral ground by Sherwin-Ciliums) with a soft white wall and warm khaki undertone creates a comfortable background that helps the cabinetry stand out. Polish alpine makes countertops and slab backplash with bold ebony, graphite and gray lion and forest green crystals, combining color, movement and drama. ,It was a kickoff for the kitchen, “Ramsay says.” He found that the slab and fell in love with it, and it gave information about all other decisions. ,

Next to the refrigerator, a pantry cabinet had fixed the shelves inside. “It was only 12 inches deep,” says Ramsay. “This is why you see this kind of inequality between refrigerator and pantry.”

On the left side of the sink is a double-raj white-white dishwasher that complements the fridge. A garbage and recycling pullout sits in the peninsula, vertical of the sink. Ramse says, “We could not fit the garbage on the right side of the sink, so it was the most logical place to insert it.” “Because these household owners are empty nests, it is simply understanding using a small oven or one of the dishwasher drawer.” Floating rift-cut white oak shelves at the end of the upper cabinet provide an ideal place for plants or decorative objects.

First: A small breakfast area with a table and chairs was sitting away from the kitchen, but was not used regularly. “They often did not use it and she wanted it once,” says Ramsay. A pot rack was hanging on the sink, adding the visual chaos. A structural post in space was necessary to stay in place, as it would be very expensive to remove.
