Lava has announced in the gaming segment with Lava Play Ultra, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB of RAM and 7300 SoC with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Lava states that the play runs “Clean Android 15” out of the ultra box as it has no advertising, blotware or unwanted apps. The smartphone comes with a promise of two -year OS upgrade and a three -year security update. And, while the Play Ultra does not come up with any fancy features that you see on other gaming smartphones, you get a dedicated game booster for a better gaming experience.
Lava Play Ultra has a 6.67 “FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display on the front with peak brightness of 1,000 notes. The display also has a concentrated punch hole for a 13MP selfie camera and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Maintaining ultra fuel to lava play is a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other highlights of Lava Play Ultra include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, dual stereo speaker and an IP64 rating.
The lava play comes with two memory options in ultra arctic slate and Arctic Frost colors – 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB, priced at INR14,999 ($ 170/€ 150) and INR16,499 ($ 190/€ 160) respectively.
