Following Updated homescreen widgetGoogle Drive for Android is rolling a content 3 expressive redesign.
This redisine starts the new search app bar where the hamburger button and profile picture is placed out of the field, which is more thicker than before. “Google Drive” is a “search in search” after Wordmark animals.
Meanwhile, a complete list of files or grid view is placed in a large container, which is slightly darker than the background. Other apps, such as contact or phone, place each line in your box, but the drive simply has a continuous list for most parts.
In the file tab, the top tap indicator is small. Google Drive is also using one Connected button group To switch between the list and grid view.
There is no change in the height of the bottom strip.
We are looking at this material 3 expressive redesign with version 2.25.310.0 of Google Drive for Android. It is not yet widely rolled, some users are only looking at one or two new components.
