Homeowner request. “The owners of the house imagined a clean, modern and highly functional kitchen, which would feel warm, bright and timeless,” designer Danielle Barzile Dahan. “Their previous kitchen felt tight and dark with insufficient storage and no clear flow. To solve these issues, we focused on uninterrupted built-in cabinetry, maximum storage, and a neutral, cool palette, which is easily mixed with home open-plunge layout. The target was to create a place that is beautiful for everyday family.”
Wooden cabinets and details. “We chose to use the natural white oak cabinet in the kitchen to achieve a soft, modern heat,” says Dahan. “The wood adds texture and depth without heavily. This material was used to put long pantry walls, lower cabinet, integrated fridge panels and even open cold storage.
“Instead of painted cabinetry, natural wood feels a timeless and organic that is aligned with overall minimal vision. Keep integrated handles clean and uninterrupted. Matching with white oak floors connects continuity and warmths. The countertop performance minimal, white oak flotting shelters above the neutral-toned semics.”
Dahan says she uses Hauz Pro “Software to manage projects, communicate with customers and create visual idea boards. The Hauz Pro also strengthened the budget, timeline tracking and update, informed the customers and attached to every step.”
Other special features. “For the complement of wood, we used a light-tond quartz countertop and backplashSoft white walls and mats pronounce black and brass that keep the space on the ground and add sophistication, “Dahan says.” The undercabinet and toe lighting adds a soft shine and increases the clean lines of the cabinetry. ,
Designer tip. “Use integrated LED lighting under cabinets and toe kicks to elevate the space,” says Dahan. It adds depth and luxury to improve simple touch functionality, especially in the evening. ,
“Uh-oh” moment. “During the phase of the plan, we realized that the original placement of the island did not allow for comfortable circulation,” says Dahan. “Plumbing lines were required to move to move the island – something for which it was not planned. It created a delay and unexpected cost, but we adjusted the layout and maintained the intention of clean design without any compromise by working together with flexible and contractor.
