While rumors are Still in the air Regarding a battery upgrade for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the new information base is also surfaced on the Galaxy S26 “Pro” -the Galaxy S26 Edge, both devices are set to pack big batteries.
Galaxy Reports That Galaxy S26 “Pro” – Misleading new name For Samsung’s base model of the series – 4,175 mAh will be likely to be rated, but will be advertised on 4,300 mAh. In other words, the current Galaxy S25 increases from 300 mAh with a 4,000 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 edge will have a 4,200 mAh battery (4,078 mAh rated), which also has an increase of 300 mAh on the current Galaxy S25 Edge.
Obviously, the latter is getting a big upgrade. The large performance of Samsung’s edge device means that low capacity may not extend, so 8%~ increase will be greater than reception. But, for both devices, this is good news.
Galaxy S26 Edge is expected to replace the Galaxy S26+ In Samsung’s lineup. Its size is the same and almost the same value point, but the battery life is definitely going to close a business for a thin form factor. All Samsung’s Galaxy S26 devices are expected to be launched in January 3.
