Tips for making these strawberry shortcakes
- The cottage cheese you use will affect how much flour you need: I like to use 2% or 4% cottage cheese for this recipe because it contains less water. If your dough is too wet, add more dough at a time until the dough sticks to your fingers.
- Be sure to measure cottage cheese after conclusion: This will achieve more accurate measurements than measuring when cottage cheese curd is still in tact.
Serve and enjoy!
To serve, cut the biscuits in half. Top with one half with chopped strawberries and then the other biscuits half. Top with a doll of Fresh wheeled creamand enjoy! I like to add a twig of honey to a drip of fresh mint and honey while serving family and friends. My child recommends topping with Rainbow sprinkles.
What to do with the remaining
Are you left? Wait for the remaining shortc to assemble until you are ready to serve. Store the biscuits in an air-tight container in the fridge for 3 days. Store strawberries and Koda The fridge also separately in air-tight containers.

Prepare biscuits. Add flour, cheese, baking powder, salt and brown sugar to a bowl. Using a silicon spatula, shake until a ball starts to form. Then, switch to your hands and knead as a ball.
-
Separate the ball in 4 balls. Make each individual ball in a round biscuit, about 1 inch high and about 4 inches in diameter. Place biscuits on a baking sheet.
-
Wipe each biscuit with egg wash and sprinkle sugar on top. Bake for 6 minutes, flip the biscuits, and bake for another 6 minutes. We flip the biscuits so that both sides become a golden brown color.

Remove from the oven and set separately to cool for 5-10 minutes.

To serve, cut the biscuits in half. Top with chopped strawberries and top with another biscuit. Top and enjoy with fresh whipped cream.
