This is the cherry season in the midwest and I am here for it! in Cherry Almond Croisain Baked Oats My new tops of my baked oatmeal passion are actually back in the early 2000s. They are inspired by almond crisans (OMG So So Good!), And the taste of sweet cherries is such a natural addition. I hope you love them as much as I do (and as much as my child guses!).
Idk made me use so long to use cherry in more dishes on fit food! I like snacking on fresh cherries during those warm summer days, but it has been to try honestly and include them in their cooking. I have found it Pistachiosit Delicious cherry crispAnd an OG FFF FAVE – This Cherry Pie Energy BallsBut it is a long ago cherry oatmeal recipe that we have caught with the site. I could not be more excited to share it with all of you.
This is a healthy breakfast or snack option: I am always looking to add a little more protein and whole grains in my morning, and it just moves.
Great breakfast for food and food: On Sunday, I like to make a big OL ‘batch of baked oatmeal, which is in hand throughout the week.
Tastes like almonds croisains filled with cherry: Do I need to say more?!
Especially displayed material
Fresh Cherry: Apparently important for this recipe! You will need to put your cherry in the pit and will be cut in half before the bustle in the oatmeal bake. I like to do some extra slices to sprinkle on top while serving.
Chopped almonds: Almond Croisain also important to taste! You will sprinkle an entire bunch of almonds slipped on top of the oatmeal bake before putting in the oven, so they will find good and toast.
Almond extract: I can’t get enough for this taste! This actually enhances the almond crisaini taste, so I do not recommend replacing for vanilla until you should be at all.
Rold oats: Using rolled oats in this recipe helps in chewing the texture but not dense at all. Quick oats will also work, but it will change the texture to some extent. Steel cut oats will not serve as a replacement.

Top and enjoy with powder sugar!
To achieve full almond croisain effect, please do not leave the powder sugar! It is actually cherry at the top, and that almonds completes the Croisain Flavor profile that we all know and love.
Even if you enjoy the cruisain baked oatmeal of this cherry almond, it travels well, delicious warm or cool, and just so good.
More topping ideas
When I am doing this for breakfast several times a week, I like to switch a little topping for some variety (obviously my child appreciates this, too 😋). Here are some of my go-two:
- Fresh cherry
- Greek curd or cream cheese doll
- Maple syrup
- nut butter
Once your baked oatmeal cools down completely, I like to slices it in single servings and keep it in a glass, airtight container.
Store your cooked oat in the refrigerator for 5 days. When you can leave it overnight at the counter, they will stay in the fridge for a long time.
Add another spraying of powder sugar when you are ready to serve again.
