Rollands Score Girl A Fierce Argil event after winning British historic rally

Will Rowlands and Emeir Hall were toast of Argil, when he won a good victory in the historic element of the last weekend of four rounds of the British historic rally championship.

The crew of the North Wales ended the hard-bandaged-road event with one and half in the hand of Ford Escort MK2, similar to Barry Stevenson-Venere and Richard Wise. But it does not tell the whole story of a powerful battle that was angry on the technical and challenging streets of the Cowl Peninsula on Friday evening and Saturday morning.

BHRC leader David Crocene and co-operator Ben Tegart took an immediate lead in their escort MK2, on a rare outing on asphalt and ended Friday evening leg with a difference of 25 seconds on the rollands.

As the action resumed on Saturday morning, the Rownds went on the attack and after 11 of the 16 special stages of the incident, he was just four seconds below his opponent. Sadly, in the following phase in Whistlefield, Crocene broke a half -shaft and his rally ended.

Rowlands said: “We had no problem at the end of this week, besides David Cruceon: He is very fast! When he retired, we were shocking for him, because it took the air out for us.” However, Rolland’s first lump sum BHRC win was a reward after another tremendous Argyll rally.

Behind the Stevenson-wheeler, Paul Thompson and Josh Davison completed the historic podium, while a luxurious fourth total was Keith Robathan and Ian Nicole’s flying Vaxhall Firringe.

In Category 1, for former 1968 cars, Stephen Hall and Egi Foster won a tremendous victory over their victory over father and Son Clive and Craig King’s Minis.

In Category 4, for the new Historics, Championship contender Baj Jordan and Arvel Jenkins had a bad dream with a slipping clutch in their Mitsubishi Gallant VR4 through Saturday afternoon and lost the category for the amazing BMW M3 of John Marshal and Craig Wallace. However, a large point score for Jordan and very few Jordan for Crocene have been placed with two round championships on the driving seat.
