Google announced a handful of Genini AI features for the Chromebook Plus laptop, including a smooth, new 14-inch flagship device from Lenovo, which I have recently got to handle.
The new AI functions include select to search, which allows you to press the launcher icon for a long time or take a screenshot and to search Google based on on-screen images or text. (Like it Circle to search On the phone, but for chromebooks.) In this way the text captured can be imported into a spreadsheet or documents such as a calendar or Google work area app. The on-screen text that is slightly technical or jargon-Y can also be simplified. And now, quickly inserted key – “Gemini button” Cap locks on chromebooks change the key – Ai gets a shortcut for the image generation.
There are two more new Gemini features: a smart grouping tool that automatically organizes your current tabs and documents about what you are working, and some image editing automated functions such as background removal and stickers are manufactured in the gallery app. These new tasks use on-device AI and are exclusive to Lenovo’s new Chrombook Plus 14 laptops, which today launch with new tools of Google.
Lenovo Chromebook Plus (14-inch, 10th-Gy) starts at $ 649 and uses A Mediatech Comaino Ultra Competent chip in 50 tops. It is an eight-core ARM-based processor with Wi-Fi 7 and supports for two external 4K monitors. Lenovo’s new flagship Chromebook also has a 14 -inch OLED display capable of 1920 x 1200 resolution and 400 Nits of Brightness, with options for the touchscreen version starts at $ 749. Its other major glasses include storage up to 256GB, up to 16GB, a fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.4 support and four-speaker Dolby Atomos audio setup. For ports, it has only two 5GBPS USB-C, a 5GBPS USB-A and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
I recently found Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 to catch and see the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 at the Google preview program recently, and it was definitely a svelte and smooth machine. Its weight is just 2.58 pounds, making it easier to get up from one corner with just one hand. And, as usual for OLEDs, its screen had a darker and colorful contrast that was pleasant to see. In addition, it is the first arm-based model for Google’s Chromebook Plus range laptop, the 60Wh cell of Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 has been claimed to have the best battery life among its peers.
Buying Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 or any Chromebook Plus device in 2025 gives you free access to Google A Pro Plan For a year, including Gemini 2.5 Pro, VO3 AI Video Generator, and 2TB Cloud Storage.
