To take it up a notch, the artist swears by ways to take specific pictures so that he is always ready for his close-up.
“Golden Hour is your best friend. … Great light is more important than a great dress, so always avoid the afternoon. If you are working with hard lighting, turn on your digital camera flash for a quick cool form,” she explains.
“On the iPhone, shoot in 2x or 3x to add drama and look clean -and use burst mode for real, clear movement,” Barton notes.
