Travel issues force NASCAR to change the Mexico schedule and delay exercise

Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that a chartered aircraft carrying several members of the NASCAR industry was grounded after an engine issue, which led to a large delay and forced to find an alternative route for Mexico City. With other air travel challenges and delays, NASCAR has forced to accommodate its program for the race weekend.

“Due to two aircraft issues, who fielded several race teams in Charlotte, Neck on Thursday, NASCAR adjusted an on-track schedule for this weekend activities at Autodomo Harmanos Rodrigues in Mexico City,” read in a statement by the approved body.

As a result, NASCAR officials have chosen to delay the planned cup chain exercise session, re -prescribed for the afternoon. He has also pushed all NASCAR XFINITY Series practice sessions from Friday to Saturday. Additionally, the first of the two NASCAR Mexico series races will now run a few hours earlier on Friday.

The Xfinity series will lose some practice time as a result of just a 50 -minute session just before qualifying. There are also other minor adjustments, but the cup teams will not lose any exercise.

Sunday’s program remains unchanged. The NASCAR Cup race will still be on EST at 3 pm. A green flag was planned for EST at 3:23 pm. Denny Halin will require a playoff discount after choosing not to attend the event to stay with his family after his son’s birth.

Thankfully, there were no major issues for 132 halls and transport vehicles, which traveled from Michigan International Speedway to Autodomo Harmanos Rodriguez this week in another massive venture for sports this week.
