The double world superbike champion Toprak will make his Motogp debut in Razgatlıojlo 2026 as Turkish will ride for Star Pram Yamaha.
Yamaha Motor confirmed the move in a statement on Tuesday, which was initially expected during the Italian Grand Prix weekend on 20–22 June.
However, the statement has been released early, and the Razgatlaiolu Superbike will join the Yamaha’s satellite squad after eight sessions in the World Championship, which he won in 2021 and 2024.
Yamaha’s statement was read: “Yamaha is pleased to announce the return of Rajgatliolu in Motor Co., Ltd., Yamaha.
“Current WorldsBK Champion and 2021 WorldsBK champion Yamaha will jump into Motogp in 2026, which will join the Prima Pramac Yamaha Motogi team.
“Fim Superbike World Championship (2018-2025), after one stellar term, during which he was crowned the WorldsBK Champion twice and became the second most victorious rider of all time with 63 wins so far, Razgatlolu is set to take a new challenge in Motoog’s premiere class.

“Razgatlıoñylu Motogp steps and a cooperation between Yamaha and Pramac, to join the factory-supported Prima Prama Yamaha Motoogpi team, is a strategic decision that allows Turkish rider to show its unique talent on the peak of motorcycle.”
Razgatlıoñlu rode for Yamaha in the World Superbike Championship from 2020 to 2023 and won his 2021 titles along with 37 races.
Yamaha Managing Director Paolo Pavasio said: “We are thrilled to welcome Toprak back to the Yamaha family.
“The most victorious Yamaha Rider, Toprak, has proved an extraordinary talent in the superbike, who is achieving a world -fed title twice, which is no meaning.
“His infection for Motogp is an ‘homecoming’ and an exciting new challenge established over time with a clear goal of progressive development.
“The spirit and determination of their fighting is the perfect for both the Prima Prama Yamaha Motoogi team and the bold motorgary strategy of Yamaha, so we believe that 2026 is the right time to make the step that many fans are waiting.”
Yamaha has not confirmed who will be the 28 -year -old team partner, but it is expected to be the current Pramac Rider Jack Miller with Miguel olivira moving on.
