Atlanta Motor Speedway renamed Ecopark Speedway

Atlanta is located in Motor Speedway, Atlanta, Georgia, has been on the NASCAR Cup schedule since 1960, but when the series returns there in this summer, it is going by a different name.

Atlanta will now be known as part of a seven -year branding deal of several million dollars as the ecopark speedway. The name in the name of Grandstands has already been changed.

Ecopark Automotive specializes in selling pre -owned vehicles and is owned by Sonic Automotive, presided over by David Smith. He is the brother of Marcus Smith, the CEO of Speedway Motorsports, who owns Atlanta and many other tracks on NASCAR schedule.

David Smith, president and CEO of Sonic Automotive, said, “We have enjoyed serving guests in the Atlanta Metro sector as Ecopark Atlanta opened its doors in 2020.” “This partnership allows us to share the value of extraordinary ecopark car-bred experiences with more guests in Atlanta and the surrounding region that enjoys the enthusiasm of nascar racing at this prestigious site.”

The track hosts the two cups of race every year and will serve as the early stages of the NASCAR broadcast program of TNT on 28 June, as well as starting the $ 1 million IN-season tournament starting this year.

Marcus Smith, CEO of Speedway Motorsports, said, “We are thrilled to partner with an innovative, customer-focused company like Ecopark Automotive as an entitlement partner of our newly designated ecopark speedway.” “Ecopark automotive is committed to extraordinary customer service as we are, and we know that we will simultaneously bring our fan experience to a new level for southern hospitality. This partnership will fuel great experiences for fans participating in our speed for the coming years.”

The track NASCAR is not a new phenomenon in the track NASCAR that changes its name as part of the entitlement sponsor deals. Charlotted once went by Lowe’s motor speedway, Sonoma was earlier called Infinon Racwe, Fontana was known as Auto Club Speedway, and Phoenix was using ISM Raceway for a time. And even on the current program, the Gateway is called World Wide Technology (WWT) Raswe.
