In this season, Moisés NIETO celebrated the 15th anniversary of his brand, but instead of a grand runway show, the designer chose for some more meaningful: a small group of press and many of his long -time friends participated in an intimate dinner.
“Finally, I think fashion shows have become cold glasses,” Nito said. “There is no time to talk, people are in a crowd. You make your soul naked, and then it is over in a second. I wanted something different: the face around me and, top, to celebrate slowly.”
In this more comfort and private settings, the designer again saw some standout pieces and patterns that have made her a domestic name in Spanish fashion. The lineup included their signature trench coats, masculine outerwear, and midi dresses, which were in the palette of neutral tones and bers. “When I started, I had no commercial mindset. You look 40, and the pieces that the buyers wanted will always repeat. It is that I learned what designs work and those who do not. You learn a lot from your customers.” Today, those customers are more loyal to their infallible crafts than before.
