Older compact point-and-shoot cameras are catching on and have proven particularly popular with young people who grew up after their riseModels that have spent years on the shelves of thrift stores are suddenly being sold on eBay at attractive prices — in some cases, even higher than their original MSRP.
Since we’ve spent the last 25 years covering these cameras, we decided to put together a mini-buying guide for Instagram, covering the things you’ll normally need to buy for a point-and-shoot. Attention should be paid while purchasing. We’ve also picked out some specific cameras that we think stand out from the rest and will not only provide the point-and-shoot look but actually provide a good photographic experience.
