Yuki Sunoda After the initial practice sessions of Formula 1 in the Spanish Grand Prix accepted to focus on the lack of speed – revealing that “I have no idea why I am slow”.
The red bull driver believed that, although his two Fridays were “smooth” and without any clear issue, the final speed was very slow and why he was in a disadvantage to explain.
Tsunoda was heard to criticize the RB21 through team radio, given that he was suffering from slipping on both of the axes, and sixth and tenth slowed over the team-met. Max Verustapane Between soft-tire qualifying simulation.
Like Vestapane, he scored long runs on both medium and soft tires – but beyond laps was away from four -time champions. GPS suggests a significant decrease in moving speed through data turn 9 and moving through 10 vs. Vastapane.
“It was difficult,” had Tsunoda’s approach to the sessions. “To be honest, in the context of the first day compared to any other grand pricks, it felt very smooth.
“I think I have progressed from FP1, FP2. But to be honest, I have no idea why I am slow. The lap was very good considering FP2 and obviously it’s not completely 100%.
“But obviously there is no difference that I am expecting. So it is difficult to say what kind of accurate limit I have in terms of balance. It is fine. We have to see what we can improve, but currently (I) struggling.

“Hopefully we can find something, otherwise, it’s really hard. It’s not that I had a big mistake and I am behind the contestants; if I had a mistake and without results, I am happy, in fact, but it’s not so.
“It will be longer than normal, perhaps, but obviously there is a curfew and everything. I will try my best to find a solution. Currently, it’s not very clear.”
From Vestapane’s perspective, Dutchman enjoyed a “OK” on Friday and noted that the FP1-FP 2 run-insn-insn-insn-ins had a temporary sense of greater positivity to more positivity so far this year.
He said he still wanted more than the car to feel really comfortable, as he was in Emola, but was finally pleased to “feel” out “after the early sessions.
“The track is always very pleasant to drive. It’s quite hot, especially for tires, but I think it was a fine Friday,” Vastapane explained.
“We have bad Fridays, but I felt a little happy with the car. We are still not, I think, where we want to be, but it was definitely a little more positive.
“Every track is a bit different, but Bhavna, I still want a better feeling from the car. I also have Fridays where we were completely out of it. So, it’s a little more, I would say, in the middle.”
