As Jaime álvarez puts it, sometimes you have to go away to join again. After nearly a year of absence, Main’s Creative Director Madrid has returned with a decline 2025 collection on the runway, where the fabrics are in the core. His vision was to balance between simplicity and complexity, a goal he achieved by contacting his Menswear and Women’swear separately. “In the previous season, we customized men’s pattern for women, but this year we have created a female pattern from scratches, 100%for them, who are asking our customers,” said the designer born in Sevile.
For the suit, a man signature, collar was now stitched by hand to lapels for more streamlined effects. It touches co -existence with sartorial shirts and pencil skirts, re -interpreted through frills and pleats, dyed in various colors of yellow and pink, and in rich pairing like Obergine and Navy Blue. The materials also embraced the contradictions: “I wanted to mix the cruelty of cool wool, usually used in sewing, with delicate clothing such as organa and chiffon,” álvarez revealed. Sheer dresses also present a challenge, they shared, especially due to tailoring complications they usually demand in Atalier. This focus on expansion is the basis for the slow but stable growth of the brand, now trying to reach the new audience: “For the last one year, we have noticed the influx of customers from Latin American countries who are choosing for high -quality Spanish design,” he said.
