Fourth episode of Last of usThe ‘Sophomore season doves more and more scary with some methods, aimed at carrying forward character development. I would say that one of these subjects worked, but the other stumbled very hard, unfortunately.
Where the show stumbled this week, there was a relationship between Eli and Dina. Both are very “they, they will not,” are all in the season, so it is not a surprise that they finally got together, but the method of that revelation was very sudden. After protecting Dina from infected and cutting into the process, Dina is naturally very afraid that Ellie is about to turn. After assuring something at the end of a gun barrel, Ellie Dina is able to shoot her after revealing her immunity. Hours later, Elli has still not changed. Instead of asking questions about immunity, Dina moves towards her pregnancy, and both naps at the end, nowi announces with Elli how excited she is that she is going to be a father. it felt Very Run away and unknown. Those two characters only excluded their feelings, and they are already talking about their family (without JC, no less) while Ellie’s immunity never goes beyond her tattoo that covers her original bite mark. In this episode, seeing how Gugli-Alli is Ellie for Dina, it, it concerns me to the upcoming stories, and it is as cryptic as I would be.
This week this episode tapped a lot in the horror, including the above infected attack, which took place at an underground metro station. But we also had the hanging and disgruntled bodies of WLF soldiers at the hands of stains, which was unfortunately the lack of stress, as we knew who was due to the unnecessary introduction of the stains last week. Then, we were also tortured on a mark for information about their next attack to Isaac (Jeffrey Wright). This inquiry really tapped into the central subject of the second game, being a cycle of violence, and it seems that neither he nor his prey was really knew how this struggle started. The episode was actually opened with a flashback with Isaac in 2018, which used to be Fedra, but cheated his unit (including Jake and Josh) and joined the WLF. Between WLF and scars, we see this tribal war based on ideology and beliefs, which are out of control, ready to do anything for other humans at a time with members of each faction, where creatures such as infected zombies are, they should rally.
The show continues to flex its production design, looks similar to their video game counterparts with sets, both in expansion and scope. I really liked the set of the music shop, which was completed with the old vinyl, and to regain the location of nature. Eli plays the role of a-ha take on Me Here with an acoustic guitar, her skills as a composer improved thanks to Joel’s lesson. He said, Bella Ramse’s Auto-Tuned Vocals distracted me. It may not look, but such scenes are very important for the end of this story, so bookmark the scene mentally.
I think there is something that is bothering me with season two Last of us Is dialogue. It seems very simple and direct, such as there is no place for interpretation or nuances. Everyone says what they are feeling, as opposes the use of body language or deflection, which allows us, the audience to make another estimate. But in this show, writing in this season is telling us how to feel and how to react, and it feels very robot and lifeless at times. I know that there was a proper part of the dispute in the game, but at least there was better control of character development in the game.
Similarly, being familiar with the source material, this part of the game is consumed with hatred and fury due to the loss of Elli Joel. He spirals, and hatred consumes him, so Joel’s death ended a large -scale shade on the plot and characters. In the show, his death feels like a later, with the show, Ellie has continued disgusting and quippy, slightly on the edge for measurement, but the lack of urgency is quite upset. Two rendering do not look the same as each other.
