Best Equipment for Lawn Edging
To sideline your lawn, Henry recommends using a manual or a operated stick edger.
“You don’t need anything fancy,” Henry says. “A large box store or online will work a good stick edger.”

“Some people use String trimmersBut it takes more skills and does not produce well as an edge, “Henry says.
Although many string trimmers have adding guides, it is still difficult to hold them at the distance and angle. It is easy to catch a wheel edger with a metal blade.

When to edge a lawn
You can edge your first or after mow the lawn-A method works. But which method gives you the best look?
“For the best results, I recommend you to edge before you make a mav,” says Henry. “In this way, you are setting the first edge.”
Setting the first edge is especially important with excessive turf overgrowth in plant beds. It can be difficult to separate the grass from the bed of the plant. By setting the first edge, you make sure that you are only cutting the grass of the lawn – and not wandering.
“You are cleaning everything with a grass cutting machine,” Henry says.
As long as you are bags to the grass, the grass cutting machine vacancies too much or the remains with all the edges.

Clean the lawn perimeter by removing branches, leaves and other barriers. Keep an eye on hard objects like rocks, that Edgar can be a hit.
Create a line (optional)
If a hard range like bricks, concrete, or pawers already make the circumference of the lawn, you can bite against it. Otherwise, you will need to cut a floating line in the grass. To guide Edgar, use long PVC pipes or an old garden hose as a template.
Determine the depth of Edgar
To cut the grass out of the lawn perimeter, set the depth of Edgar at 1/2-inch. If the turf is thick, you will need to cut the entire layer of sod, about 2 inches deep.
Edge
Turn on Edgar. Moving forward in one direction continuously, proceed to Edgar along the line. Be aware of hidden hazards such as buried irrigation pipes, route light wires and sprinkler.
Clean the area
With a leaf blower, blow the chopped grass towards the lawn. Leave the grass in place and either wet it or bag and remove the lawn when you cut the grass.
