Riyadh recently announced that its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners would be configured for 290 passengers for the specialty of business class, premium economy and coach in three-cabin layouts.
However, the airline has also revealed plans for a small handful of additional-wisdom-class suites in front of its aircraft, which offers a type of bridge between business and first class which has been a favorite of major international airlines in recent years.
This is the latest step towards starting operations for Riyadh, which expects to start operating commercial flights later this year – and won their operating license from Saudi regulators earlier this month.
The airline has a firm order or option for 72 of Boeing’s Dreamliners and already partnered with a handful of major international airlines, From delta air lines Singapore Airlines and Virgin for Atlantic.
Riyadh’s new trade-class housing
For his flagship Long-Hall Dreamliners, Riyadh will offer 28 seats in his business-class cabins: 24 lie-flat suits with privacy doors and four “business elite” suits planned to be a rung above the baseline premium experience.
Business-class suites
For his standard business-class suit, Riyadh opted to go with French seatmaker Safran’s “unity” product-a single model Australian carrier chosen by Qantas For its Airbus A350–1000 aircraft that will someday transport trading passengers on the longest flights of the future in the world.
A few weeks ago, I tried the “off-the-shelf” version of that suite at an an inner-centered conference in Hamburg, Germany.
It was certainly a huge product with all the latest technology that you will expect in a state -of -the -art suite, and the sliding door provides an aura of secrecy that has become a top feature in the best suites flying today.
