Melting Snowman Whipped Cream Bombs

These Melting Snowman Whipped Cream Bombs are a fun winter treat hot chocolateIf you love marshmallows in your hocho, you can take things up a notch with these delicious frozen whipped recipes. All you need is whipped cream, marshmallows, and some pretty decorations.🎄

Now that we have kids we’ve all taken the holiday season to the next level. Not only are we putting marshmallows in our hot chocolate, we’re also making little frozen whipped cream snowmen ☃️ and loving every minute of it.

We saw these little melting snowmen on TikTok and we knew we had to try them. The original snowmen use classic ready-whip, but we tried them with coconut whip and they turned out great.

These little snowmen are very easy to make. you just need one silicone muffin pan Or silicone ice cube traysIt is very important to use a silicone tray, this makes removing the snowman much easier.

  1. Whipped Cream/Reddi-Whip – We used the coconut version!
  2. marshmallow – Big people make the best snowmen!
  3. decoration – Think sprinkles, cinnamon imperialis, etc.
  4. Hot Chocolate: We highly recommend serving them with your Maple Sea Salt Hot Chocolate,

You also need to think about decoration. We used mini chocolate chips, Red Hots, pretzels, and sprinkles to make little eyes, nose, and ears. There are many different things you can use, so get creative. This is a great food project to do with kids.

We used Coconut Cream Reddi-Whip, but you can use regular Reddi-Whip or fresh whipped cream that you keep in a piping bag. Just make sure you use fresh whipped cream to whip it until it forms stiff peaks and be sure to prepare it right before you make the snowman.

Before pouring the whipped cream into the silicone molds, place the silicone molds in the freezer for 10-20 minutes. This will prevent the whipped cream from melting immediately.

When you’re decorating the marshmallows with faces, use the marshmallow cream as ‘glue’ to attach each ingredient. We found that coconut oil melts very quickly.

Do not add anything to the whipped cream as it may cause the snowmen to break when you try to remove them from the mold.

  • First, make your snowman’s face. Use the marshmallow creme as glue to stick your sprinkles/mini chocolate chips, etc. to the marshmallows. We used mini chocolate chips for the eyes and smile. We also used sprinkles for the smiles and some noses. Pretzel sticks can be used for arms or horns.

  • Fill each silicone thoroughly with Reddi-Wipe, about half an inch above the top. Then place a marshmallow head in each well. If you’re feeling fancy, you can add sprinkles in between to add color.

  • Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours – ideally overnight.

  • When the hot chocolate is ready to serve, place a melting snowman in each cup and watch it melt!

  • Whipped Cream: Any type of whipped cream will work for this recipe! We recommend using whipped cream from a can because it’s fun 😀
