The platform of Alice Tilli Hall made only a little bright last night as the young America Grand Prix (YAGP) held its annual Today’s stars meet tomorrow’s stars Gala in New York City. A glamorous and Hardik came out in the evening, celebrating the emerging stars of the ballet -some as young -seven -in -laws celebrated the dancers of top companies in the world.
The Board of Trustees and Gala, presented by the Leadership of YAGP and supported by Dyer, 2025 Gala honored the curator and Arts Advocate Sarah Hoover for his continuous commitment to art.
Hoover said during his comment, “It is inspiring to see how big this organization has become.”
Television personality Andy Cohen and former American Ballet Theater Dancer Dancer was co-hosted by Memoric, The Night performed dazzling with an international lineup of talent: Hannah O’Neel and German Louvet to Paris Opera Balle, Freedman Vogel and Yana Peneva’s Statthe and Abet Studios, and AbT Studio, ABT Studio and Ebat Studios and Yagp Student.
“What is the moment of a full-cycle for me,” Hamric said, who himself performed in the inaugural Yagap Gala 26 years ago.
This year, more than 15,000 dancers competed, with 2,000 finalists proceeded to the international round in last week’s Tempa, Florida. After a week’s masterclass and competition, some selected some people traveled to New York to perform for the audience of family, mentor and emotional supporters.
Information in the audience included Amy Estley, Candes Bushanell, Brian Putnam, Zack Posen, and Lucas Jagger, as well as Michelle Och, Marsela Hymovitz (who served as Gala Creative Chair), and the founder of Larisa Savaliv, Yagap. In the evening, BFA was documented by Michel Commerman.
The performance of this performance was choreographed by Isaiah Dey for Alvin Ellie American Dance Theater, characterizing a original composition and live music performance by Matthew Whitekar. A Moving ENSIBAL performance from the YAGP International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) scored the program.
Adding a fashionable touch, the 2025 point project was on the glittering display-Machael Course, Custom-designed point shoes by Carolina Herera, Helmut Lang, Theory, Alice + Olivia, and others.
After the last bow, the guests moved to the dance floor – joined by Ballerinas themselves – for a jubilant festival, which confirmed the mission of the gala: to provide scholarship and training opportunities to young dancers of all backgrounds.
Or as Andy Cohen kept it, pointing on a platform filled with young talent: “Every ticket helps to make tonight it possible.”
