iPhone Camera App Peerla The app has been updated to version 2.2, adding powerful new video abilities and features including log video recording to go with the applied log still photography features of the app.
With version 2.2, Pierla aims to become an all-surface mobile imaging tool for enthusiastic and professional level photographers and videographers. The unique imaging pipeline of the app works directly with the image sensor of the iPhone, which promises better image and video quality with high level user control.
“The reactions of the creators have been unprecedented,” says Gai Cassidi, the founder of the House of Mars, a developer at Piyala. “With this update, we are furthering the boundaries, adding more industry-standard log profiles that rely on professionals. We are also increasing the main experience with better image stabilization, processing and performance. “
Pearla version 2.2 expands the compatibility of the app with a professional camera system by adding seven new color locations: Canon C-Log 3, Blackmizer Design Film 5, ARRI log 3, DJI D-Log, Fujifilm F-Log, Soni S-Log2 and Panasonic V-Log. Adding these color blanks allow users to better integrate the iPhone footage captured using Peerla in multi-camera projects shot on full scale dedicated video cameras.
Pearla 2.2 also adds support to Bluetooth camera grips, improving its utility in a video workflow. The app also enables users to record videos in REC-709 with dynamic tone mapping disabled.
“Our aim is to make Pierla a unavoidable tool in any manufacturer’s kit,” says Cassidi.
“The first app was the first app to take a pure approach to image processing on the iPhone at the stage of Pearla Acquisition, when we launched as a photo camera. We were committed to bringing such innovation for mobile photography and film production and professional colored workflow and open-gate video recording. Maping is taking control by introducing control. ”
