If you have ever seen a YouTube video or participated in the zoom meeting, you will know that the sound quality is usually more important than any other factors. Keeping this in mind, I put the new Maono Wave T5 wireless lavalier Mics through their pace.
When I was younger, I revealed in the right sound made by my high-Fi. Now I have moderate hearing loss. This disability is not very loudly listening to music, but I had a technical engineering job in my own state, which subjected me to the noise of repeated collisions that harmed my ears. As a result, good quality sound is necessary for me, or I cannot hear speech. This is probably more than those who have a good hearing.
New Maono Wave T5 wireless leveler microphone I was sent to try, and I wanted to know if they stood on their promise of high quality. I have tested the model of other brands in the past, and they have been very good but not right; Whatever gear test we do is rarely. Will this product prove to be a grip against other models?
Looks first
The package arrived, and I am happy to see that the minimum single-use was plastic. However, the instruction book was conducted under an unnecessary plastic sleeve.
The kit that I received was the combo version, and the box in the box, 2 x microphone transmitter, 1 x powered receiver, 1 x USB-C receiver for Android devices, 1 x Lightning Receiver for iPhone devices, 2 x magnetic missel clips, 2 x magnetic necklaces, 2 x-wonders, 2 x-wide castes, 1 Kundali-Stades) included USB-A to USB-C Charging Cable, 1 X Charging Box, 1 X Soft Storage Bag, 1 X Hard Storage Case and User Manual.
There is another version of the kit that contains only operated receivers and various cable adapters to engage in different devices.
At first glance, the kit all looks well made. All components except the USB cable fit inside the hard case. I felt that black impure leather bag was meaningless, but I think you are useful to store components you are not using while recording.
There are stickers on the charging port of the MIC transmitter and receiver, and the equipment needs to be removed before charging them. Transmitters can only be charged by the internal battery of the case, but the operated receiver can also be charged through its USB-C port.
Magnets are strong for lapel clips and necklace. I had no concern about the mixing mixture by mistake. Similarly, both the molded interior and charging cases of the hard case tightly hold various components, so you can turn without taking out those parts.
Charging case seems solid. It has a strongly inflated lid, and at the front, four white LEDs show the charging position.
Most of these types of microphone on the market rely on the power source of the phone to run the receiver. Adorable, this model comes with a operated receiver. This means that you can use it directly with a digital recording device or camera using a 3.5 mm audio cable.
In addition to the USB port, the operated receiver has three blue levels-narcover LEDs, a mono/stereo switch and a rotary gains knob with a power button. A single red LED shows when the unit is being charged; It becomes green when the battery is full. Blue LED indicates that microphones have been added. Similarly, blue LEDs working on the phone receiver are found. If the noise cancellation is turned on the mic, it becomes green. The receiver and the transmitter were already added to the receipt.
The level of microphone receiver is not control, but they have a separate noise cut button.
The transmitter each has a magnetic sheet to attach a built -in microphone, a power/noise reduction button, a muted/remote camera button, a indicator LED, and lapel clip or necklace. Magnets are strong enough to catch the mike in place through a thick coat if you do not have a lapel to clip it.
A QR code in the user manual takes you to a download link to install an app to update the receiver and transmitter. The download occurred through my Android phone browser, not Google Play Store, but the app is present in both the Play Store and App Store. Updates were available for me, and it took them about a minute to complete.
In use
It is a simple tool to use. You plug it in, and it is ready to go. Despite this, I found that it is more than myself against other models I have tested. The switch and button are easier to use than something that depends on various numbers to change tasks. Magnets are strong and I have likely to be less than some other mixes. I wandered around with both mixes for an hour, and they stayed there.
As you will hear in the video, the sound quality is very good.
I plugged my digital sound recorder, my phone, my camera and the receiver unit in my computer and did it.
It was very good to cancel the noise and was not released from the sound of the voice, as is on the model of some other brands.
What did i like and what can be improved
What did i like
What can be improved next time
-
I am not a fan of front-faceing LED, as they are a distraction from a video.
-
Stickers are unnecessary.
-
Plastic wrappers are not required in the instruction book.
in conclusion
I was influenced by these Mics. There are two versions. I tested a one made for a camera, with the receiver not requiring external power source via USB-C, as it has an internal battery. It did a good job.
Transmitter units do what you want to do them. They raise your voice, and is clear without reception deformity or intervention.
All in all, Maono Wave T5 is a good product,
