Estonian Ace Juganson score first win BRC in Carlisle stages

Three years ago, Romte Jurganson did not even fought a rally – but on Saturday, Estonians claimed winning their first British rally championship with a victory in the Carlisal stages.

Inspired by a fast-tracked career, the challenger Jungle and Junior WRC Ace’s victory and underlined the ability of the M-Sport Ford Driver, all set the fastest time on all, but one of the five stages to secure the top phase of the podium-one of the five stages-and his first overall win.

For the first time after 2019, the Kandar Charan demanded bravery and commitment, returning to the BRC calendar for the first time. Jurganson and co-driver sim Oja were in the bucket load.

Getting a slim lead on Max McRare at the opening test, Fiesta driver briefly handed over the benefit to a winner William Creyon and his Toyota Yaris to round. But Jarganson rejected the lead on the reindeer and never looked back.

The speed of the crayon collapsed after a chicken error on a third test, allowing Jarganson to pull away and seal its speed to manage its speed in the final stage to seal the victory.

“Happy to be really honest, it has finally come together,” Jurganson said. “This is the first win and is really a good feeling. Hopefully, we can prove ourselves even more.”

Createon finished second after struggling to match the speed of Jurgenson, but was keen to bag the BRC points important for his campaign. Gary Piercene finished third in his Fiesta rally 2 after a fierce battle with Keith Chronin, whose Citroen C3 Rally 2 cut off his podium expectations, cutting on a third test.

Callum finished fifth in his festival rally 2, Matt Hresht scored the top six in his Skoda Fabia Rally 2.

In Junior BRC, a return to Joseph Kelly’s series was an impressive, which was a storm for his first win. Kelly and co-operator James McBrery were unbeatable in their Puzo 208 rally 4, winning each stage and formed a solid leadership on Kyle Macbrid, until later retired after a roll on a puncture and SS4.

Jack Brainon inherited the second, while Kalam Graffin finished third after Sam Mason retired within the final control.
