Sen criticizes Rand Paul Tariff Policy, arguing that its supporters are wrongly looking at business.
Paul argued that American citizens are not trading with China, so much that they are trading with their local stores. He suggested that a flawed way of looking at such transactions would be to say that someone has a business deficit with his grocery store, or an employer will have a business deficit with someone’s employees if they never buy their product. But this, he said, is misguided.
