Kevin raber, CEO and publisher Photosal And Former CEO of luminous landscapeAfter facing a series of strokes in the last 48 hours, the death has passed away. He was 71 years old.
His passing notice was published on the homepage of photops.
“Our community today lost a champion,” writes Chris Sanderson, friend and Raber’s colleagues. “After a series of strokes in the last 48 hours, Kevin has died in Indianapolis. As I look at the ‘Rip’ above my photo, I definitely realize that Kevin will do the last job.
“Kevin was a person of immense energy and enthusiasm with a true passion -jointly joyful and soft in a soul.
While he is working Photosal Since 2019, Rabber is probably known for many years a photography website and blog, luminous landscape for its time. Lula, as it was often referred to, was established in the mid -1990s by Canadian photographer Michael Reachman, which makes it one of the longest websites dedicated to photography.

“Photography is my passion and for over 50 years,” Rabber himself writes. “My career in photography has allowed me to travel to the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things that I could never dream about. My goal is to take pictures through photos and teach with the number of people I can, hoping that it is as much joy and happiness as it is to me.”
Author’s note: I enjoyed knowing Kevin and spending time with him during the last decade. I can say that he was always a kind, welcome, knowledgeable soul. Every sentence with a smile, Kevin was happy to interact about the love of photography, who wanted to work with anyone. He will miss.
