Security Jackson Findle and aggressive lineman Eric Anderson on Thursday made concrete outings at the university at Buffalo Pro Day, inspired the next wave of Western University to move from Mustangs to professional football.
Findle measured only six-three and 198 pounds before running the informal 4.54-second-second-forty-yard dash, which would have placed them fourth in last year’s CFL Commonen. He was seen in three-kon in 7.13 seconds and in 4.71 seconds in short shuttle, while 34-inch vertical, 10-foot, two-inch wide jump and 16 representatives of 225 pounds were posted on the bench.
North Vancouver, BC -native, was prone to eighth rank in the Winter Scouting Bureau list of CFL after an excellent collegiate career with Mustangs. In 41 Career Games, he collected 182 tackles, losses for 6.5 tackle, four sacks, one forced ability, 25 pass breakup and eight interception.
Findle earned the first-team all-kanadai honor in 2023 and was a finalist for the President’s trophy as the top standup defensive player in the country in 2024. He was named one of the top 8 academic all-canadians of U Sports last year and When his pro football career is over, there is a plan to become a pediatric oncologist.
Anderson posted 17 representatives on the bench press in six feet-six and 306 pounds before running the informal 5.3-second-second-yard dash. He also recorded a 5.09-second small shuttle and 7.95-second to go with a 26.5-inch vertical and seven-foot, nine-inch wide jump.
Native of London, Onts. During his tenure appeared in 38 sports for Western, earned the first-team all-calendion honor twice and took home to the Nomination of OUA for the JP Metrus Trophy as the country’s top lineman in the last season. He is currently ranked 10th by CFL Scouting Bureau.
Both Findle and Anderson are scheduled to perform in CFL National Commonen, which runs from 21 March to 23 March in Regina. Pro Day results in hand, while the combination uses an electronic laser system, resulting in a slightly slow official time.
The 2025 CFL draft is scheduled for EST on Tuesday, April 29 at 8:00 pm.
