We all want to travel more. Whether a holiday, career brake, gap year trip, some journey we are always thinking about. One of the things that prevents many people from receiving that dream, is money.
Save money to travel A tough fight can happen but the journey is not as expensive as you think. There are many ways to save money on the road and reduce your cost.
And you do not need to be a backpacker to travel cheaply. There are lots of ways to travel on the budget without renunciation.
One of the easiest ways to travel on a budget is to go somewhere cheap. There are many amazing places to travel which are still quite cheap. In fact, many of them are really Cheap Back home compared to day to day life!
And, while in dozens of cheap countries you can see, in this post, I am going to share my favorite who I think the best!
1. Thailand
Despite being a very popular tourist destination, Thailand It remains relatively cheap.
Outside the popular island sites, if you are backpacking then it is easy for about $ 50 USD per day to visit the country. The cost of the hostel dom is $ 10 USD per night, you can eat less than $ 10 USD per day. If you stick to the delicious street food markets, the drinks are only one double rupee, and the cost of tourism and activities does not exceed $ 20-30 USD.
If you are not looking backpack around Thailand, you can still visit the country on a budget. If you use marks for the hotel, stick to the budget house, then street food sellers and sticks to public transport. If you do this, you will spend around $ 100 USD per day.

2. Mexico
I will be honest: I was late in the game on Mexico. It was not a few years ago that I finally took time to find out the country. The country is only incredible. Maya ruins, stunning beaches, lush green forests, world class food, picturesque sanots, mazakal…. I love the country.
The tricks of an affordable travel to Mexico are to get out of the tourism areas. Leave the Tulum (this is the worst place in the world anyway), Playa del Carmen, Cabo San Lucas, Cancan and American Hotel Brands and all other resorts filled with tourists.
The hostel costs $ 10–15 per night, Street Tacos $ 1 USD or less, other foods will set you back $ 5-10 USD, beer is approximately $ 1-2 USD, and even large-ticket sites like Chichen ITZA are just $ 5–15 usDs.
If you are not looking backpack, you can still travel economically. On a midrange budget of approximately $ 80, you can live in a private hostel room or cheap hotel, eat cheap traditional dishes in restaurants, can go to more attractions, enjoy some drinks, and take topical taxis to go around.

3. Portugal
Portugal is not only one of my favorite countries in Europe, but it is one of the cheapest eurosone countries. Offering attractive cities, stunning beaches and beautiful weather, this country has become very popular in recent years. Along with a growing scene, there is also a vibrant digital nomadic community.
You can get here for about $ 50 USD per day without remembering amazing food, fun activities and delicious wine. On this budget, you will stay in a hostel dom room, cook all your food, limit your drinking, go around using public transport, and stick to free activities such as free walk trips and enjoy the beaches.
While prices are slightly higher in popular LisbonYou can easily offset whether in the shoulder season or in winter.

4. Central America
Central America is one of the cheapest regions in the world, with a cheap place to travel too much in every country. Because of that, I am incorporating the entire region!
In such countries El Salvador, Honduras, NicaraguaAnd Guatemala You will find the best deals, with the cost of budget hotels around $ 15 USD, food for $ 3-4 USD, just travel for the same price, and beer for less than a dollar.
In the “expensive” countries in the region (Belise, Panama, Costa Rica), You will spend close to $ 50 USD per day, although you do not want anything as the cost of street food under $ 5 USD and hostels are $ 8–12 USD.
For more information about the field, see my guide Visit to Central America,
5. Hungary
Hungary is a wonderful, inexpensive country, the main attraction is Budapest. I love BudapestIt is a beautiful, historical city.
The hostels in Budapest begin at $ 10 USD per night. Food is around $ 5–10 USD in markets or on the piles of kebabs and sandwiches shops. Trains and buses were only a few dollars, while a beer is less than $ 2 USD.
As long as you are not going out for a large night of drinking or paying alcohol for a lot of attractions and activities, $ 50 USD will give you a lot of space to enjoy the country’s sites and sounds. And Budapest is a great option like more popular sites Pratish Or ViennaJust presenting the same fun for a fraction of the cost.

6. Peru
The house of the epic surprise of the world, Machu Pichu, Peru One of the most popular countries in South America. I loved my journey thereThis is a country that I will go back again and again.
While hiking Inca Trail Surely you will break your budget, everyday life in Peru is quite cheap. If you want to backpack Peru, I will plan $ 50-80 USD per day. On this budget, you will live in hostels, specific hole-in-wall restaurants and cafes, limiting your drinking, taking public transport and buses overnight, and some paid activities and tourism. If you are going to party a lot, you will be at the high end of this limit.
And, if you want to make some guided hikes, but there is no money, then try to book the last minute. You can usually find amazing deals – which includes deals for an increase in the Inca Trail. When you can spend more than $ 50 USD per day, then a lifetime experiences are worth it.

Vietnam is one of the cheapest countries Southeast AsiaFrom the amazing scenes of Sam Mountain and Ha Long Bay to the Holy Temples and the man -made artistry of the pagoda, Vietnam is stunning, from the roofs and beaches.
The hostels can be found low in the form of $ 4-5 USD, including many free breakfast and free beer (during limited hours). Food from road vendors can be found under $ 1-2 USD, and buses across the country are incredibly inexpensive. Even activities here are cheap. Cu Chi tunnels (tunnels used by Viet CONG during the Vietnam War) are just $ 5 USD to travel, while canning is just $ 20 USD the whole day.

8. India
No budget travel list will be completed IndiaIndia has always been a cheap place to travel, but the decline in Indian rupee in recent years has made the country a bigger deal. You can travel well here for very little money, and increasing your budget to a few dollars can often increase luxury.
For example, on a budget of $ 30-45 per day, you can do specific backpackers cheese: guesthouse, cheap food, sleeper trains and overland buses. You can expect to spend around $ 45-55 per day in big cities of Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore as well as in beach sites like Goa.
But, if you doubled it, there is really nothing that you cannot even have a grand meal from a private tour guide to three or four -star hotels to internal flights. The country is usually, in fact, it is really cheap.
9. Taiwan
Taiwan is one of the lowest countries in Asia. This is super cheap, safe, clean, and more is more Things to see and do,
You can easily visit Taiwan for $ 40-50 USD per day as both food and housing are super cheaps. The hostel starts around $ 10 USD while the street food is just a two dollars (and super tasty). There are many markets, a lot of hiking, convenient public transport and a fun nightlife. No matter what you are interested in, you can find it in Taiwan. You will get a lot of value here.
