Just as colors (neutrals) came into trend, so did certain textures, such as vases and plaster walls. The pendulum is also rotating in the opposite direction.
“We will see more silk and linen wallpaper, more mohair used in upholstery,” says Chamali.
Alex Bass, founder of fine art and interior design studio Salon 21, believes mix-and-match vintage table linens will bring texture to homes in 2025.
“Whenever I’m thrifting, I’m always looking for something with my initials or friends and family on it,” says Bass. “I found these two beautiful French tea towels with my initials at a flea market in France last summer and I treasure them so much!”
