The living room is an undeniably precious place in the house-where movie marathon, late night chat, and special functions take all roots. So it is only true that it is decorated accordingly.

Choose a focal point

To anchor the living room, interior designer Margaret Carroll preferred to bring the eye to the “wow” factor.
“It can be a vintage statement mirror, larger than the normal piece of art, or an architectural element such as a wooden beam that draws your eye upwards,” Carol says.

Make it personal
It is easy to get caught up in the aesthetics of your living room, but it is important that it also makes sense for your home.

Centylus recommended, “Just do not rely on big light -ad table lamps, picture lights and floor lamps.” She says, “Having a table lamp or floor lamp within one hand will make it easier to access without getting up from your seat.
