Homeowner request. Designer Mark Siano says, “My customer contacted me with a vision to change the storage of his third floor and children play place in a stunning but functional home office suit.” “Her vision was a multipurpose place that not only represented her style and looked great, but also resolved many of her home office needs, including a seating area for informal meetings, a desk area with a ton of storage and a window seat, which she could call and see the Tritops.”
Building storage. “I designed an entire wall of built-in cabinetry, in which the storage below for supply and any other specific office items and decorative items and books and panels above the shelves of the top shelves hung the art,” Siano says. “The built-in unit was painted in the right tone of the blue, firo and ball de neem, a muted midtones blue that reflects peace. The printer is hidden inside the space built-in, and all computer laptops run from the top of the desk and deal with the big shackles behind the feet of the desk.”
Other special features. The desk is walnuts and marble. Siano says, “Wallpaper is done in a neutral knitting to create a layered texture to the walls, but the wallpaper is done in the tout tabor, but does not stop in space or not hit you with color,” Siano says. “We commissioned two pieces of art, which sit in built-in behind the desk area. My customer’s favorite friend is an artist on the West Coast and I worked on the concept, color and execution of the pieces with him. The light details were quite important. Instead of a desk lamp or recorded spot, I chose to hang the pendant on the desk.
“To separate the space and make a divided between seating space and desk area, I designed openly Custom cold storage units After this the roof slope. It creates a separation, but does not close the spaces. The divider bookcases are in rift-cut oak and are tainted with a medium-tond walnuts. Complete Coffee station With refrigeration he was a necessary to spend in working. ,
Designer tip. “People spend so many hours on their desk these days, I wanted a comfortable in my client to be comfortable window seat If she is reviewing contracts with treatop ideas or a few minutes break between zoom calls, ”Siano says.
