A UI is now with us for six years, and it is easily made by Samsung, the best Android skin. A UI Smooth is smooth, more reliable and easier to use than smesung experience or touchwiz, which is earlier skins. With a blip with A UI 7It is much faster than ever, often other Android skins are defeated.
A UI delivery features have made it my favorite taste of Android because I first used it on my Galaxy S10 Plus, but still there are things I want to change. Motorola, OnePlus, and others have added exciting features to their Android skin, and I would prefer to see some of them adopted by Samsung in the next version of a UI.
Motorola: Snanned gesture
It is difficult to assume that it has been twelve years since the original Moto X hit shelves. He shapes the future of Motorola in the next decade, with the phone, Moto G, and is one of the best things that the company now calls kinetic gestures. What I want the most are two who started it – fast torch and quick occupation.
On a motorola phone, performing a double karate chop to togle or closes the torch, something that is incredibly useful when you are fighting with the keys in the dark and need to add some light to the situation. I use it very much on my 2023 Razr Plus, where this gesture is much faster than unlocking the phone and swipe through quick settings.
If the camera is already open, the Quick Capture opens the camera or switch between the front and the rear lens. This gesture requires a double flick of the wrist, and once you get used to it, this is the easiest way to launch the camera quickly so that you do not remember a significant shot.
Motorola: Easy Adaptation
A UI has a lot of themeing options, more than the motorola, but it is all divided into a lot of different menu and apps. The themeing icon is in the theme park, the fonts are in the menu, and the contents of the colors are in the menu accessed from the home screen. It is worse on Samsung’s Z Flip series, where all the options of the cover screen are spread over the menu. This adds too much friction to customize your Samsung phone.
Motorola has gone about things in a simple, thoughtful way. All options for subjects, icons, fonts, home screen grid size and cover screen are at the same place. Long-press the home screen, open a personal menu, and all the options you can need anytime. Certainly, I remember some more advanced twicex from a UI, but Motorola’s approach to list everything together is more acceptable to users.
Pixel: playing now
Ryan Hens / Android Authority
Now playing is one of the small features that you don’t think about until you use a phone that it is not. I used Pixel 9 Pro Recently as my daily phone, I used a pixel because I was the owner of a 3xl, and it reminded me of how much subtle quality of life you find on the pixel. Knowing that wherever I am, which song is playing in the background, without asking my phone to do so, is more convenient than the option.
Now the history of the game is also very good. I plan to listen to a song that I have heard and when discovered out and about it, only to forget what the song was when I reach home. Now playing has the history of songs that listen to it, so I do not have to trust my memory.
Pixel: Call Screening
Andy Walker / Android Authority
Pixel 8A
The call screening started at Pixel 3 in 2018, but I never experienced it as it did not come to the UK until 2021. When i used it Pixel 9 Pro Recently, I could not believe how much better it is than Samsung’s option. Samsung’s call assist can do the basics of screening calls, transfer conversations, and live live translation. But it is extra that Google has added to call screening in the years that cannot live with Samsung.
Call screening on Pixel can wait for you on hold and inform you that the person you are calling comes back, tell you how long the average waiting time for the business is, and even map and label phone tree options. The Samsung call leaves for a good start with Asist, but a lot of work is to be done.
OnePlus: Screenshot Pixels

I take a lot of screenshots in this line of this work, and I often need to sensor things such as my email, address and other personal information. A UI has a spot and pixels tool in the gallery, but it is a manual process that can be quite messy if there is no S pen to make things easier. OnePlus and Oppo devices contain an AI-operated auto mode that identifies as sensitive information, applying a clean spot for this.
This is not correct. In the example above, I had to censor the two elements that it was manually remembered, but it was much less painful than doing it completely, and such features would improve with only updates.
OnePlus: Open Canvas
OnePlus started Open canvas On the OnePlus Open, and since then, it has come for many devices of the company. It is a new approach to window management on mobile that is more comfortable and uses the most from the space available on the screen. Before the OnePlus introduced it, a UI had my favorite multitasking system, but the open canvas drove it out of the water.
Google has taken some inspiration from open canvas, which has a 90:10 division in multi-window, which you can try in a UI 8 Fold 7, Flip 7Flip Fe, and S25 series are running beta. This is an improvement, but still what the OnePlus is doing, does not get close to it, and I would like to try an open canvas on a big screen, like like me Galaxy Tab S10 Plus,
A UI9 needs to be affected
Zac kee-deenniss / android authority
A UI 8 It looks like a stop-gap update. A UI7 made a lot of major changes to the Samsung software, most of which were welcomed, but delayed and fragmented updated rollouts left a bitter taste. A UI 8 is shaping to release a very smooth, but almost nothing new here, to be excited about it. It seems that a UI 8 only had minimal changes so that Samsung could quickly push it out of the door and act as a loss control for the previous year.
A UI9, whenever we see it, needs to be given something to be excited to give us something, and looking at other OEM skins for inspiration, Motorola, Google, and OnePlus users love users about their phones, then there will be a good place to start.
