Who does not like to travel and find out new places? And if you have a camera with you to document the experience, then it’s okay, I can’t think more fun! I am not involved in clear things, most tip lists are included, such as further planning, shooting during golden hours, or traveling lights. I am more interested in the creative aspects of travel photography, so I compiled five points, which compiles five points aimed at helping you bring a collection of photos to proud – photos – photos that tell a story and give a sense of place.
Look for a different scene
If you are in a popular place, just don’t indicate your camera and shoot the same old view that everyone else does. Often it is like looking at the flock of sheep at honeypot places. Spend a moment to look around and see if you can find an angle that is different from most people. Ask yourself these questions:

Will keeping my camera less or higher more interesting or dynamic?

Can I include a foreground interest to create layers or add an element of the story to the composition?
I always roam in search of different scenes. This is really the most pleasant part of the experience of photography for me because it is a creative challenge. On a visit to Prague, I went to Charles Bridge, where thousands of people have shot the same scene for decades. I came just before the sunrise, and already 10 either photographers were standing in the same place, the tripod all were installed at the same height, waiting for the sun to be slightly higher so that the buildings could appear in the background.
I inflamed the classic scene, but then went to each end of the bridge while trying to find a separate scene. It was getting lighter now, but I saw that at the end of the bridge, the tower was still light on it which was light on an ornate roof. I got my different scene! I managed to grab a shot second before going out of the lights. Phew, what a lucky time. There was no shot, without illuminating the roof.
On the same journey, I returned to the bridge and grabbed a composition using such a technique when I favor everything else fails – to look at the camera on the ground for a completely different perspective. On this occasion, it worked, and I went home with two unique pictures from a very popular place. A huge result!
Immerse yourself
We inspect and photograph things from a distance. But if we go in and become part of the action, then we see what is going on and a better chance of catching that decisive moment and ending with a immersive photo. By going nearby, we meet to introduce layers for our creation, which help to fill the frame with more interest. To do this, you need a broad focal length like 28 mm or 20 mm.
Culture capture
The effect of climate and geography of an area is what can be grown and produced, and raw materials available for construction or construction. It all plays a big role in creating a culture of a place and how people live and how they work.
The culture of a place is the essence of a place, and capturing that essence – or the feeling of place – traveling in your photos is the best way for photography. Cultural identity is expressed through architecture, signage, food, clothes, local festivals and rituals.
Clothes, patterns in tiles, colors of buildings, spices, spices in a market or pottery, craftsmen, and artisans – all these things contribute to the cultural identity of a place.
On a trip to a non-visitors part of Cuba, I discovered the poor economy and a hot climate meant that many people were struggling to end, so they were installing stalls on the streets and selling fruits grown in nearby rural areas. This entrepreneur was a requirement for lifestyle survival and defined the culture of the place. It became a photographic project for me. I took any picture of impressive architecture or sunset on the beach. I wanted to catch the story of the gritty road life of vendors and tell the story.
I mentioned the word Story There. The story is in its heart. If we can create a harmonious body of a story that tells a story, it is far more powerful than a group of random beautiful photos.
People’s photo
When we are on our holiday, we take selfies and take pictures of people with whom we are traveling, but I find it more interesting to take a picture of those who live there and work there. These are the people who make a place which is this. We overlap here with the previous point about capturing culture. People eventually define a culture. But on one side, people in the photo can make them more interesting and reliable.
If I come to an interesting restaurant, tourist attraction, store or street stall, I often ask the person working there if I can include them in a photo. Not more often, they are happy to pose.
If I am taking a picture of about 12 feet from someone, I ask for permission. I find it rude to indicate a camera with someone personally without asking anyone. If they are far away or I have a long lens, I can take a quick clear shot.
This can be the most important point of this article. There is nothing better than involving people in a travel photo, whether they are posing or just going about their business.
Many of us are reluctant to ask a stranger whether they will not feel like taking photographs. It takes a little courage at the first time – we need to push ourselves outside our comfort field. People will say yes or no. Its as simple as that. However, here is a secret: if you show interest in someone, join them, and ask well, they usually say yes.
Look for the opposite color
Nothing says that bright colors in summer have more fun. Summer destinations are usually filled with color, wearing bright summer clothes from buildings to bright summer. Vibrant colors help you catch the energy of the weather. For blind impressive photographs, I look for opposite colors in a scene. This usually means two colors in a composition that sit on the opposite edges of a color wheel.
