In today’s fast-paced world, it feels as if everything is moving at lightning speed. The social media trends that were in the news last week seem to disappear from my algorithm the next week, while this item is Everyone was trying to get it (and failing) just a few months ago and it seemed to be becoming more available as new styles came out. Overwhelmed by the constant noise and trying to keep up, it can be easy to feel a little lost in it all.
That said, while I firmly believe that a wardrobe should be built timelessFeel-good pieces you’ll love for years Sometimes the right on-trend addition can bring freshness to your wardrobe and the outfits you wear. The challenge is in identifying pieces with a little more staying power, and one item that I find lasts longer than others is always trainers.
Looking back at the trainer trends we identified at the beginning of the year, many of those pairs and trends are still incredibly in-demand. Colorful trainers remain big news, as do chunky, on-the-go style pairs. However, as the New Year approaches, I’m sure there will be even more sneakers in the style landscape.
Out of interest, I decided to ask my coworkers which trainers they like right now, as well as a couple that they don’t like. Some chose sneakers that feel very timeless and, dare I say it, anti-trend, while others chose styles that I think will define the footwear scene of 2025. Curious to see what he said?
