According to a 2024 study conducted by cosmetic indexwhich analyzes top beauty brands, huda beauty Has the highest number of followers on social media with 64.4 million followers on Instagram and TikTok. This comes as no surprise to WDW’s beauty team — we’ve been tracking every single launch and look from this iconic brand all year. in 2024 Easy Bake Loose Baking and Setting Powder ($38) reigned supreme (and became my personal favorite), along with Lip Contour 2.0 Automatic Matte Lip Pencil ($21), but the list of best sellers doesn’t stop there.
I like to think of 2024 as the year of color products. Think about all the concealers, skin tints, and foundations released this year. And in a sea of viral foundations, Huda Beauties Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation ($37) came out on top. I won’t bore you with the statistics, but this darling foundation received High Praise from some of the most trusted beauty content creators. Our editors tested this foundation and the reviews were amazing.
Before we dive into our honest thoughts, let’s analyze the product. Easy Blur is a light, medium-to-buildable coverage foundation that’s non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores). And ultra-blurry. The key ingredients are 1.5% niacinamide, which smoothes out uneven texture and tone, and silica, which helps you achieve a filter-like finish by blurring the look of pores. After Huda Beauty founder Huda Kattan worked on over 100 (yes, 100) versions of this product, it finally launched in 29 shades and quickly took off on social media. But I won’t keep you waiting any longer—keep scrolling to see if this product lives up to the hype.

“For me, this product applies as advertised. It feels lightweight, has a blurring effect, and it looks thoroughly Natural on skin. I only did one layer and it provided a really medium amount of coverage, but I would stop there if you prefer a more skin-like look. Overall, I still prefer the skin tint for daily use, but I think this is a great fuller coverage option for my fellow less-is-more makeup wearers.” – Natalie Gray Herder, Editor

“I’ll be honest: I have a hard time believing product descriptions when they call a foundation ‘lightweight.’ Too often, ‘lightweight’ is a filler term used to indicate that the product won’t flatter you. Will show up, but as a regular foundation wearer, lightweight for me shouldn’t mean that my skin looks And Feels like skin, that it works well with the rest of the products in my complexion, and it’s comfortable to wear all day. (I’m basically looking for a skin tint formula with the coverage of foundation.) It does all of the above. I love that it’s buildable enough to cover my blemishes without leaving a heavy feeling after applying more product. Before and after pictures don’t lie. I’m impressed with how much of a difference this foundation gave me with very little product.” – Aniyah Morinia, Fashion and Beauty Editor

“Although I always choose tinted moisturizer as my base, I was excited to try this hyped Huda launch. It has a natural finish but a little more velvety-matte, so I added a few drops of Road Glazing Milk And a spritz of glow setting spray to make my complexion glow. I love that it matches well with my other skin care and makeup products, so no foundation is magic. I wasn’t expecting an airbrushed Paris-filter type of finish, but it comes close enough that I definitely see myself reaching for it on special occasions when I really want a flawless base. Without feeling like I’ve applied heavy foundation. Emma Walsh, Beauty Editor

“I’m not a medium-to-full foundation kind of girl, but I know there’s a time and place when looking absolutely beautiful is essential — from photoshoots to ultra-glam holiday parties. Personally, I love the glow given by this foundation. Loved the coverage, but I found this formula to be a little drying, especially during the winter months, that being said, if you’re looking for full coverage and you have oily skin, I’m sure you’ll like this. Will come!” -Emma Hughes, Social Media Editor

“As someone who wears foundation almost every day (and who has tried). Very Among them), I’m very particular about what constitutes a ‘good foundation’ in my book. And honestly, it came close to checking all my boxes. It’s lightweight yet buildable (check), it has a natural-matte finish (check), it blends very easily (check), and doesn’t settle into my fine lines (wow, check). The one box it doesn’t check is longevity – it just didn’t last me all day. After eight hours it had oxidized and exposed my texture in a way I didn’t like. I still think this is a foundation I’ll keep using from time to time because I like the coverage and finish, but it probably wouldn’t be a good fit for me.” -Sahara Clement, Copy Editor

“Given the hype around this product, I really wanted to like it – but sadly I didn’t. There are a few reasons for this. I couldn’t escape the smell. Admittedly, I’m pregnant right now so I didn’t like the texture of this, which made it difficult to blend and made my skin extra dry. Ready to try with Recommended, but I also I accept that this may not be the right foundation for my skin – it happens!” -Katy Bellamy, Group Executive Director, Branded Content & Beauty
