Best Game of Week: DB Derek Slaveka, Toronto Argonats
They say that efforts cannot be made – if this is true, it seems that Toronto’s crook security was just born with it. After starting the game flowing to his right, Slaveka reverse the field when he saw the coal spiker alone for the end region. The defender sprinkled, caught the receiver, and forced a fambal for only inch before crossing the goal line, took points from the board and captured Argonats.
Honorable Mention: QB Vernon Adams Junior, Calgary Stampders

The worst game of the week: DB Markwis Bridge, Vinypeg Blue Bombers
Stampeders sent Ruki Deep Thret Demian Alford to a Go route and depended on the bridges to cover it. Only clearly clearly clearly clearly clearly, clearly clearly, the bridges stopped walking in coverage, easily left the first overall pick in the final area for touchdown in this year’s draft. You do not need to be an expert on a defensive back play to know that bridges made a big mistake here.
Honorable Mention: QB Chris Strewler, Vinypeg Blue Bomes
Best Game of Week: Montreal Uloutes in Toronto Argonauts
The game provided two shocks to the audience: one when Argonots opened up 18 points despite being a 7.5-point road underdog, and then one more when they coughs it. Toronto defensive back Tarvaras McFaden and Derek Sleevka did brilliant plays, as Montreal Quarterback Davis Alexander did it when he placed the team on his back to win.
Honorable Mention: Calgary Stampders in Vinypeg Blue Bombers
The worst game of the week: Hamilton Tiger-Cat in Ottawa Redblack
The game will be remembered for most helmet-to-halmet hits, causing the Drew Brown’s lids to fly throughout the ground. It never felt very competitive, nor was it especially good crowd to see it live. Kudos to Bo Levi Mitchell to reach the top ten in the all-time CFL passing yard, which was a good historical element for this game.
Honorable Mention: Suskechewan Reforridrs in BC Lions
