The 2025 CFL wins rivalry in books with the regular season’s week 13 Suskechewan Rafarders, Toronto Argonats, and Calgary Stampders. Before we arrive in the week 14, with two West Division Remach facilities, let’s take a look at standout artists, plays and games from the first week.

Week aggressive players: Rec Kenny Laler, Hamilton Tiger-Cat
The star receiver had a labor day to remember, one in an attempt to lose. The Lallor threw his way for 123 yards and two touchdowns to all nine passes, with a game winner with 22 seconds. The two-time all-waste division selection now sits at a distance of only 32 yards at a distance of 1,000 yards in the season, a mark that he only receives once in his CFL career.

Defensive Player of the Week: LB Jacob Roberts, Calgary Stampders
The 23 -year -old native of Charlotte, Nekan, has actually come in its second CFL season, with a major effort in Labor Day Classic. Roberts made nine defensive tackles, tackling a special teams, a sack, and one forced the team to limit the team to 328 yards away and limited to seven points. At this rate, don’t be surprised if Roberts get the NFL look 2026.

Special Teams Player of the Week: REC Tyler Turnowski, Hamilton Tiger-Cat
The hometown child had a game for age on special teams at Labor Day Classic, in which three special teams faced and blocked a pant from John Hagranty. After blocking it, Ternovski bounced the ball back to the last area of Toronto, where it was scored by the crook lineback Devin Veraceuk for the touchdown. The 27 -year -old now has seven catches for 84 yards and this season has a touchdown, as well as eight special teams.

Breakout Player of the Week: REC/Crick Eric Brox, Calgary Stampders
Five feet-seven, 171-pound speedster showed glow before Monday’s game, but finally broke a pant return for a touchdown against Edmonton. The 86-yard score was particularly clutch, the way both teams struggled to move the ball aggressively. In Brooks, 29 catches for 343 yards and two touchdowns in the season, 16 pant 203 yards returns and one score, and eight kickoff returns for 182 yards.

Week aggressive line: Calgary Stampders
Preston Nicoles, Zack Williams, Chris Fortin, Christie Nekanu and Josh Cocker’s unit allowed zero sacks in Labor Day Classic and helped Deedric Mills reach the 100 yard race for the second time in their last three matches. with Vernon Adams Junior does not dismiss in a game while treating an aggressive line for dinner every timeBig boys will be eating well again this week.

Week Coach: DC Bob Sloic, Calgary Stampders
This is the second time an experienced coach won the award this season and it has followed another major performance by his defense. Calgary forced Alks to a pure crime, seven digits at a distance of 328 yards, and forced two takeaways to improve 8–3 in the season. Stampeders have now allowed 214 points in the season – 31 less than any other team in CFL.

Best Game of Week: REC Dizon Briset, Toronto Argonats
The pre-first-round draft Pick made an incredible catch on the second-final drama of Labor Day Classic in Hamilton, divided between two defenders. Briset then replaced the upfield with the sideline and made it About For the last area, all the ways, knock out of the border at the four-yard line. If he allows time to end without scoring, it could be the worst game of the week. Instead, the heroes of Briset allowed Lirim Hazrullahu to kick a 10-yard field goal that won a game with a second on the clock.

Week’s worst game: OL Philip Grohowak, Edmonton Elks
Elks struggled to move the ball against the hard defense of Calgary for a long time, making this diversity so expensive. Edmonton first down in Red Zone when Mark Corte’s Snap hit the backup aggressive lineman Philip Grohowak’s leg, coming behind the scrimpus line. The ball was loose and recovered by Stampeders, one of the promising drives for adamonton on that day was abolished.

The best game of the week: This is a tie!
The labor day game in Regina and Hamilton was both excellent, with remarkable catch, one ton point, several lead changes, two packed stadiums and two incredible finish. Is this a coopout to name two different matchups the best game of the week? Yes. With that, we do not care exclusively. These games were both terrible and accordingly worth being recognized.

The worst game of the week: Edmonton Elks in Calgary Stampders
Was there any doubt that it would pick up? This was not the worst game ever, but it was lacking aggressive shelling and was relatively unilateral. After two high-octane, instant classics to start the weekend, it felt like a dust to close things.
