Why is the island 18 feet tall in this Seattle kitchen, which has no seat? We will reach it, but first, a little backstory. The homeowner is an airline captain who is far away. So he wanted his household time to relax and have fun with friends, his teenage daughter and his friends. But the old kitchen was deep and closed, left the basement as a hangout. It was a kegar to grow up, but still.
Thanks to the architect Tim Hammer and Builder Mark Taylor, the new kitchen is not just big (expanded up to 135 sq ft), bright (five skylight) and beautiful (industrial-myth-natural style). It is a luxurious fun area for adults and adolescents. This is a better access to a back deck and, before the left, a J.Apanese tatami mat chamber to eat, lounge and lounge sum. It has a pizza oven (out of the frame on the right). It has a custom beverage station with eight beer at the top, which is seen on the left wall.
