Recipes to pair with protein tortillus

  • Add flour, curd and salt to a large bowl. Stir until until combined using a silicone or wooden spoon. Add 1 tbsp of water at a time until a ball starts to form.

  • Transfer the dough to the surface of a dough and knead until smooth. If the dough is very sticky then you may need to sprinkle more flour.

  • Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece in a ball. Give the work surface dough, and then roll each tortila in a circle using a rolling pin until the paper becomes thin. During this step you may need more flour. Repeat until all the tortals are rolled.

  • Heat a large raw iron pan on medium heat and spray with cooking spray.

  • Keep a tortila in a pan and cook until it bubbles for about 1 minute. Spray the top with more cooking spray and then flip and cook for additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  • Remove from the pan and store it in a folded cloth towel. Continue cooking the remaining tortals.

  • The amount of additional flour used on your work surface depends on how you measured your flour during step 1.
