Paris Famous attractions are filled with: Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Versay, The Catacombs, The Panthian, The Arch D. Triumph, Sere-Koor. The list continues. There are many amazing sites here You can spend the day (cat, even weeks), just looking at the main, most famous people,
But Paris has more than the sites that attract thousands on thousands of visitors each day.
When I was living in Paris in the last few months, I made it my mission to see some more unusual, low-knowledge (but equally terrible) attractions (which did not come with the crowds that make many attractions of Paris unbearable).
And, while some things of the list below may not be “super secret” attractions or activities, they fall under the category of “unseen attractions”, so I included them.
Here are some of the best off-hearted things to see and do in Paris:
1. Mous édith piaf
Édith Piaf is probably the most famous French singer from the 1930s to the 1960s, and is known worldwide for his songs La vn rose And Non, JE Negrate Rien (Which appeared in the installation of the film). She lived in a small apartment in Menilamontant district at the beginning of her career, which has been converted into a small museum dedicated to her. You get a glimpse on her life through her gold and platinum records, photos, clothes, fans, posters, recording and sheet music letters.
Admission is free, but you will need to make an appointment.
2. Mussi Curie
Mary Curie was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize for her research in radioactivity (and the only woman to win twice) (a word she invented). She was the first female professor at the University of Paris and at the same time the first woman was also the first woman to enter Pantheon on her merit. Located in the 5th erassment, this museum highlights its radiological research in its old laboratory. This is practical and eye -opening for anyone unfamiliar with his historical discoveries.
3. Archives national
Opened in 1867, the national archives have thousands of historical documents that dating back to 625 CEs. One of the six national archives in the country, the museum highlights the turbulent past of France, which provides fine historical details and reference through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Buced by order of Napoleon I, the building itself (known as Hotail de Sobis) is absolutely surprising. It is in late baroque style, hugging long columns and many idols and sculptures. It also has impeccable ground and garden. He always keeps a lot of good performances.
4.
The bookshop claims to be the oldest English bookstore in continental Europe, opened in Paris in 1801. Earlier, they were located in Venice and the name Galigani is associated with publishing books since the 16th century. Age on one side, it is a great place to browse because it is absolutely pack with books. You can easily spend a few hours here to hunt through stack and shelves. It is a cool, bizarre shop and employees are super experts. If you are a fond reader like me, do not miss it!
5. Paris Point Zero
It is the official center of Paris, of which all distances in the city are measured. Although it is a simple Brass star set in the pavement near Notre Dame Cathedral, there are some popular rituals here that make it a small but fun stop (and since you are probably going to the cathedral, you can stay here). Some people wish the star a well, bounce a coin and a wish (this is why there are usually a handful of coins on the star). Other, however, insist that if you stand on the star with your loved one and kiss, your love will last forever.
6. Peliantology and comparative anatomy gallery
Opened in 1898, the gallery is a part of the French National Museum of Natural History. Raising the ground floor of the building, it is home to more than 1,000 animal skeletons from all over the world, including full skeletons of elephants, large cats and even dinosaurs. This is as interesting as it is: All animals are cope in the same way that it shows that you are in the middle of some dead stampede!

7. Petit Cinture
In use from 1862 to 1964, when the city was beyond its boundaries, the railway round was left to Paris. It is hidden behind most buildings and is now covered in wild plants and grass, although some sections are now officially open to the public. You will find all types of flowers and street arts with tracks.
While some sections are illegal to travel, you will find a section of the track near the Parc Georges Braceense, known as ‘Passage de La Petit Ceintor’, which is both free and legal to travel. It is located in 15E Arrondasement.
8. Salvador dali sundiyal
This surrealist Sundiyal was created by world famous artist Salvador Dali. Located on Ru St.-Jacques, it is a mixture of a human face and a scallop shell (symbol of Camino Santiago, as the road is named after the saint). While Sundial does not actually work, it is still an easy way to see a piece of artwork by one of the most famous artists in the world.
9. Lemasse-mil
It is located near the iconic bronze sculpture Montmartra, making it an easy stop on your journey program. It is based on a character Man At the end of the book, however, his power fades in the same way that he is passing through a wall … and he gets stuck. If you get closer to sculpture, you will see that the statue’s hands are additional smooth, thanks, thanks to countless people for taking pictures of themselves, trying to free the man.
10. Montmartre cemetery
While the Père Lachaise cemetery is the largest and most popular in Paris, for more secluded walk, check the Montmartra cemetery. Many people go to the top of Montmartre for Sacrame-Koir and The View, but some people take time to wander the cemetery sitting in the leg of the district. It was opened in 1825 and is home to many cobwebed mausoleums, as well as stray cats in a handful. You will not see many people here, so you can find out peacefully.
11. Fake museum
Opened in 1972, the museum is a home of fake goods that have been collected by French customs agents and police (as well as items equally donated from brands and consumers). The museum has more than 500 items, including fake arts and luxury goods to more worldly items, such as cleaning supply. While some knockoffs are impressive in their repetition, it is also fun to see how bad some fakes were!
12. Pramenade Plante (Cooli Varte Rene-Dumont)
This tree line walkway is a greenbelt that extends about 5 km along the old Vinsens railway line. In 1969, the railway line stopped functioning, in which the park was inaugurated a few decades later. By the time New York built its high line, it was the only high park in the whole world. (And, honestly, it is better than the NYC high line).
You will find a lot of trees, flowers, ponds and spaces to sit with this long way which are spread from the bustle to the shore of Paris. It is a long, easy and beautiful walk. You will not find many people here. Even on a good day, it is empty. It quickly became one of my favorite things to Paris and I cannot advise to come here!
13. Canal St.-Martin
Up to 4.5 km, the canal is a man-made waterway by St.-Martin Napoleon. Construction ended in 1825, connecting Canal De L’XQ to the scene through both up-land locks and underground tunnels. While there is no secret place (on a good day, you will find a canal with people), it is a place for most local people who want to picnic and relax. So, do not say the scene, and come on your outer picnic with the canal. It is more comfortable and fewer people!
14. Museum de montmartre
Established in 1960, the museum is located in two buildings which are back in the 17th century. Over the years, buildings were home to many famous writers and painters. Museum gardens were rebuilt to look like gardens in the paintings of the renovar (there is also a vine turn that comes back in the Middle Ages but it makes terrible wine). The permanent collection of the museum includes different types of pictures, posters and pictures.
While main places Paris It is always worth checking out, if you want to be more than a tourist and develop more praise for the city of unique and complex history of lights, go to these unconventional and unusual attractions in Paris.
