For the first time since last November, Ottawa Redblack took the field to play football game. While the result was not counted for anything in the standing, the results caused by the results-the winter of 23-7 on the winter was very important for 75+ men for a spot.
I have all my views on Ottawa’s victory in Montreal.
1) The team was firmly entangled as the team’s starter with Drew Brown, what R-Nation expected to see was a crime in rhythm. Unfortunately, this was not quite the case.
Brown did not play worse than per per, but seeing the fact that he was at the center for almost the first half and had six assets to work with him, coming up with just two field goals was far from the ideal. Brown ended by completing its 56 percent pass for 65 yards, with no touchdown or blockage. Presiden’s performance should always be taken with a rash of salt – after all, it is truly time to work on kink and timing issues – but it was far from a polished performance.
For other quarterbacks, veteran Matthew Shiltz was given five assets to work in the second and third quarters. He completed his 73 percent pass for 72 yards, with no touchdown or interception. The 32 -year -old was a stable appearance and used his feet well to avoid pressure on the collapse of pockets.
The third year Prof. Dustin Krum came during the third quarter and Sam Shani proceeded to throw the only passing touchdown of the 14-yard strike game. Kum only went into the second possession which was given to him. He finished the game by completing his 80 percent pass for 22 yards and a touchdown.
Finally, the fourth year supporter Tyeri Adams was given the final possession of the game, and he completed one of the two passes attempted for six yards.
Given that no one was highly influential, it is likely that the battle for backup situation comes down to the team’s final presiden game next Friday at TD Place in Ottawa.
2) In Presiden, aggressive coordinators keep things as much as possible. It is not worth very deep diving in aggressive data, especially when you consider that in addition to trying to avoid tying your hands, the play-collar is working with a wide and rotating artists of the characters on the ground. Still everyone said, some things are worth noting.
Ottawa earned only 196 yards of total crime and transferred chains 11 times. Any drive had no more than two downs before or received more than 23 yards. No one is expecting Mona Lisa after just two weeks of the training camp, but those numbers are not beautiful. Neither 28 percent is converting second-down opportunities (6/21). Again, the results do not matter in this time of the year, but process. What you like to see ideally is a solid execution, which was lacking.
3) A mild -workload with veteran William Stanback was given – at a distance of nine yards as a result of four carries – it was other American backs that had a chance to reveal their case for roster spots. Given the general conflicts of crime to stay on the field, opportunities to participate in parts were less and away. Eliza Collins resulted in a distance of -1 -yards as a result of the three crafts, while former Pittsburgh Steel Jelene Samuel performed two carries at a distance of 26 yards, including a good 23 -yard scapper in the end region.

It is difficult to read a lot in the performance of the backs because the ground game had a bad night opening lane in the ground game, apart from Samuel’s touchdown run, and no one was given many touch.
4) With a limited representative with the beginning, the crook American receiver made way for 54 yards and a team-high four catches for a touchdown. Perhaps the most influential was that three out of four catches made by five-foot-10, 191-pounders fell down.

5) Even keeping in mind that the team cycled through depth chart on the aggressive line, working in all, he dressed for the game, 40 running yards on 12 attempts are not great. This is worse when you believe that 23 out of those 23 yards came on the same drama.
For an organization that has repeatedly stated that there is a desire to be a physical team that is capable of implementing his will on opponents, they will need more push and nashes than their tone-sectors.
6) Like the aggressive coordinator Tommy Kondel, the new defensive coordinator Will Fields kept things simple in his Ottawa debut. The defense of the Redlax did not do anything foreigner, but still stopped Montreal’s attack for most parts of the night. Alouettes were punished at a distance of just 247 yards of total crime and one of their 14 assets, as a result of eight, in two field targets, one in a blockage in one and three turnover-on-downs.
There were many positivity on the defensive side of the ball, especially when you believe that Ottawa was roaming from backup and depth players almost since the beginning.
The Canadian linebacker Lucas Cormier is battling injuries since being selected in the 2023 CFL draft in total since the total 10th position, but it is easy to see why the team is high on 24 years old. Now completely healthy, Cormier is a kind of player who always feels from the ball. He finished the game with three single tackle and assisted some others in cleaning.
Veteran weak-side lineback Frankie Griffin performed an impressive performance, with three tackles and a sack. Bennett Williams started in a strong-side lineback in place of Adris picket (who did not wear clothes for the game) and created a tackle and a sack.
In secondary – where four of the five positions are for tombs – there were some notable performances. Ruki American Shakur was a brilliant game of Brown. Not only did he tackle three tackles and knocked on a trio (including one in the last area to stop a touchdown), but he would also be intercepted if he could hang him on a pass that hit him right in his hands. Despite being signed just before closing the camp, it is clear that brown does not require much time to adjust to three-down games.
Craig James is also a CFL crook, but NFL has a lot of experience. Despite not starting, James passed his game time in four tackle and a knockdown. Amari Henderson started in the field-side Hafback and although he did not register a tackle, he stopped a blockage that he returned to sixteen yards. Finally, Gavin Hesleop forced almost a blitz to a thunder and made three tackles, as Alija McGi also recorded a knockdown.

7) Regularly with long snapper Peter Adei, Desmond Pelto, Ottawa G-G was signed in a roster to fulfill those duties. Overall, Pelto had a good game flagging, coming at an attempt of field goals with one of its iffy snap which was blocked.

The Kicker Lewis ward only had its own number twice, which was credited with a miss on a distance of 38 yards separately and 48-yard attempts, which was blocked when the pressure collapsed between the conservation unit. Panch Richie Leone digested three times before giving way to American Noah Gateman. The 24 -year -old child was busy, pushing nine times. As a result of some unstable downfield kick coverage, Gateman averaged a pure area flip of only 31 yards per pant.

In terms of kick coverage, Linebacker Davian Taylor led the route with three special teams.
8) I think they forgot to tell Devonte Dedmon that it is only the President, Eh? The 29 -year -old, he had a normal electric self and did not waste any time to field a pant and return 70 yards for touchdown.

Dedmon is a dangerous game-chain, which is capable of flipping the position of the area in a moment. With the expectation, it was re -signed in Offsen that it would be the primary return of the team, if he could remain healthy, it should be for a monster season.
After pulling Dedmon, Lincoln Victor handled the return duties. The 24 -year -old American Rukuki returned two punishments for 32 yards, with the longest 32 to profit.
9) Often, CFL is incorrectly dull as a second rate for things occurring as Mickey Mouse or other professional sports leagues. But sometimes, this criticism is appropriate, and was one of those times yesterday.

It only started working towards the end of the first quarter.
I think the Presiden Football is not for everyone. But there Is An important part of the fanbase, which waited for six long months to take their teams to the field, only to be unable to see them due to technical issues. How many of them stuck for 45 minutes, while the League resolved its site issues? Talk about throwing a wet towel on any discussion that can happen.
If the league cannot explain to its broadcast partner that it is worth investing to broadcast the presiden, then at the bare minimum, it needs to be completely determined that they can handle traffic on their site.
10) Redbax’s final presiden game is against these similar uluts on Friday night, this time in TD Place. Funny enough, this will actually be the first time for most people of R-Nation to see the 2025 team, as the training camp has been on a two-hour drive from Ottawa in Kingston, Ontario.
It will be interesting to see which veterans are given rest, and which will be called to play. Still with a handful of jobs, for tombs, and with them to strengthen a location on a roster or practice squad with more depth charts, the following will be worth the story.
