Hours before welcoming the New Year, the CEO of X, formerly Twitterannounced that the platform will launch a payment system, XMoney, in 2025.
in one x post Tuesday afternoon, CEO Linda Yaccarino said users “are the media” and announced “X will connect you in ways never thought possible.”
He then made reference to X TV, X Money, Grok “and others”.
“Gird up your loins. Happy.” New Year,” Yaccarino wrote.
One official x account @XMoney, called “Payments”, was created in January.
