Phone manufacturers are constantly trying to find ways to make cameras bigger and improve in their devices, allowing them to work as a true replacement for dedicated cameras. To end this, Xiaomi recently announced “Modular Optical System” Concept PhoneWhich offers a lens module with a built -in four -third sensor that attaches magnetically to the back of the phone. A fellow Chinese smartphone brand, Realme, said, “Catch my lens,” and raised the east, releasing a concept phone with M-Mount.
While Xiaomi’s approach uses a sensor built in a lens that attaches magnetically, Realme opted for a bare sensor built in the back of the phone and an existing lens mount. Realme states that the concept has a customized type 1 (13.2 x 8.8 mm) Sony sensor, which is covered by glass to save it. No matter how difficult it is, it is unsafe for scratches and cracks, which will then affect the image quality.
The M-mount of the phone allows users to avail the existing full-frame lens rather than purchasing an ownership lens system.
