Google will use Google “AI to call businesses” when you are looking for local services availability and prices. At the time of launch, it is especially for services at nail salons and auto repair stores.
When you are searching for something like “I have oil changes”, the “ask for me” the card will appear. It “records details about the service you are looking for.”
In the case of mechanics, Google begins by asking what you are seeing: factory scheduled maintenance, oil change, tire rotation and balance, tire replacement, fuel filter replacement, cabin filter replacement, engine filter replacement, etc.
Then you enter details about your car (year, make, model and mileage), as well as when you need service: soon availability, only week’s days, or only weekends.
For a nail salon request, taking “manicure” will allow you to drill in basic, dip powder, French, acrylic, gel/shelac, nail art, nail polish change, etc.
Google will then call with a natural-talker voice, summarizing the local businesses and prices and availability around you that you will get after about 30 minutes through text messages or emails. it is Conducted by Duplex technology Already used to keep restaurants reservation, as well as to update commercial hours in Google Maps.
Ask for me is currently in the experimental phase and is a weightlist. It is available for English questions in America.
