Text details provided by architects. Sous Les Ailes is just one hour away from Paris, Painters Village, in the village of Barbizon painters, is a bioclametic house located on the edge of the fontainbleu forest. The north -east corner of this plot of about 2000 square meters in the form of a stone is occupied, while currently two concrete extensions are adjacent to the building. In the south, the specific rocks of the fontinctic forest come under the shadow of long oak trees.
The owners dream of generously shining spaces, with the surrounding environment for the surrounding nature. They want the blanks to bathe in the light, while remaining the remaining and basically combining them in a calm and protected environment. Their vision is beyond aesthetics: they desire environmentally friendly homes, self -sufficient in terms of energy and water, to create a permanent living space in the right symbiosis with their environment.
Two extensions are demolished, revealing the stone stone stone. The height of the gutter of the original building determines the height limit for new constructions. A first volume, which is made with a mixed structure of wood and ganja-lime blocks, is the living areas. It is spread parallel to the northern border of the plot. The entrance, running with the stone of the existing house, opens directly into the garden, while the structure thanks for its transparency. This volume, generous in height, divided into three sections by functional blocks, separates the entrance, living room and kitchen/dining area.
On the south side, the mask is largely shining and preserved by a cantillar roof designed to limit the summer sunlight. On the north side, small openings create a sense of cross-verse. The volume dedicated to the areas of sleep is designed with necessary simplicity. Completely made of ganja-lemon, it is judiciously mixed under the main volume “wings”, which moves towards rocks where it finds shelter. The master bedroom is located in intimate and soothing, underground, which provides a true shelter of peace in harmony with the surrounding nature.
In the north, in the low iconic part of the plot, garage and workshops are located, which are away from the heart of the house, but are fully integrated into the landscape, forming a harmonious complement. In the existing house, completely bio-sour materials such as sprayed for the walls are untouched with a wooden wool for the hemperate and roof, a bathroom, a laundry room and a guest room. Two rainwater harvesting tanks and one treatment system ensure water self -sufficiency. The solar heating system, combined with a backup wood stove with a boiler, provides soft thermal comfort in winter. Canadian wells and decentralized double flow ventilation ensure natural ventilation.
