Red Bull ends NASCAR Cup hiatus to sponsor Trackhouse for 2025

Red Bull will end its 14-year hiatus from the NASCAR Cup Championship as it will serve as the primary sponsor of Trackhouse Racing for the 2025 season.

The Austrian group, known for its energy drink brand, participated in the Cup with its team from 2006 to 2011, during which Team Red Bull won two races.

A lack of sustained success led it to step away from the series in late 2011, but it would return with a Red Bull-branded livery for Trackhouse.

“Welcoming Red Bull back to NASCAR is an incredible chapter in the history of Trackhouse Racing,” said the Trackhouse founder and owner. Justin Marks,

“Red Bull is one of the most powerful brands in the world and it is an honor for us to launch a partnership with such an iconic company.

“This is a huge win for our sport and a moment that will stick with millions of NASCAR fans around the world.”

Drivers wearing the colors are already Red Bull athletes, as Shane van Gisbergen partnered with the Austrian company in 2016. The Kiwi is a three-time Supercar champion before joining NASCAR in 2023, and scored his first Cup Series win. Chicago.

Cup newbie Connor Zylisch, meanwhile, joined Red Bull’s books in 2024 during the same weekend when the 18-year-old took victory in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Watkins Glen.

“I am thrilled to partner with Connor, Shane and every member of Trackhouse, what I believe to be the greatest motorsports company in the world,” Marks said.

“We are very honored to welcome Red Bull to the Trackhouse Racing family.”

Van Gisbergen’s #88 Chevrolet will be fielded with Red Bull at five Cup races this year – Las Vegas Motor Speedway (March 16), Sonoma Raceway (July 13), Iowa Speedway (August 3), Daytona International Speedway (August 23 ) and Kansas Speedway (September 28) – while the company drove Zylisch’s #87 Chevrolet in its championship debut at Circuit of the Americas (March 2). Will also sponsor.
