Gliksman ‘fragrance’ sage (Salvia ‘Aromus’, Zone 8 to 10), Bush Animon (Carpenteria California, Zone 9), ‘D La Meena’ Cedros Island Verbena (Verbena Lysina ‘D La Meena’, Zone 8 to 10), Globe Mowls ,SupriZone 6 to 9) and St. Catherine’s lace (Erogoneum gigentum, Zone 9 to 11). “They are all amazing shrubs,” she says.
For perennials, glicman often uses Yero ,Ankylifolium, Zone 3 to 9), Bandarflower (Mimulus SPP.), Penstomone and Douglas Iris (Iris Douglasiana, Zone 6 to 10). For the ground cover, she loves the ‘Silver Carpet’ ester (Corethrogine philaginifolia ‘Silver Carpet’, Zone 8 to 10), Ground Current (Ribs SPP.) And seas coastal daisy (Arigron Glacus, Region 8 to 10).
Isn’t there a plant. Glicman advises against using invasive plants. In addition to possibly carrying her garden and even to her neighborhood, she says, they can compete with native species and endanger biodiversity.
