This week, I spent some time to practice one of my favorite styles of photography: intimate scenario. Something exciting for the fact that you can get interesting landscape photos anywhere. It does not need to be a grand vista or a world-famous national park; This can be a pond near your house. And when I was busy taking a picture of grass in such a pond, there were some interesting things in the world of photography. Here is the biggest news of the week.
Recent announcements
- Sony FX 2: This video-centered mirrorless camera has more characteristics than ever and can now make a solid option for hybrid stils/video shooters. The resolution is up to 33 megapixels (from 12 MP on FX3), and is exciting, visible variable-angle. FX2 10-bit 4: 2: 2 can film 7K oversad video with internal recording or 16-bit raw on HDMI. Autofocus and image stabilization have also been improved, and for $ 2700, it is much less expensive than $ 3900 FX3.
- Think Tank Photo Walker Rolling Backpack: A new entry in the popular line of the rolling backpacks of the think tank, photo walker Pro has adequate features to be an option to carry their camera equipment among places. I will probably not increase with it on some area (when you are trying to go to light, the wheels and handle weight is a non-starter), but it should be a great airport bag. The think tank says it is quite large to fit the DSLR or Mirrorless camera with a 200-400 mm F/4 or similarly. It is soon available for $ 400.
- Poleroid flip: A classic instant camera, new and better. Now it has four (fixed-focus) lenses for anything from closes to distant shots. The sonar-based “autofocus” system also chooses among them in total darkness. At its top, Flip includes a strong flash and various options, including exposure compensation and several exposure. Maybe it is difficult to see the appeal of a quick camera in the world with such good digital options! But from the least personal experience, such cameras (and options from Fuji) are the most popular cameras I see among my non-photographer friends.
- 7rtisans for Sony 24mm f/1.8 Af: A new third-party autofocus lens, currently available only for Sony Fe Mount. At $ 330, it reduces the aging Sony Zes Sonar 24 mm F/1.8 Z to a great extent. 7Artisans 24 mm f/1.8 AF has two aspherical elements, three additional-less spread glass elements and two high-disturbances. The weight is a very appropriate 424 grams (0.93 pounds) and the lens is already available for sale.

New sigma lenses are coming soon for Fe and L
It is rumored that Sigma is going to announce at least two new lenses on 17 June, and they should be available for Sony E and Leika El Mount. Both are APS-C lenses: a 12 mm f/1.4 and a 17–40 mm f/1.8. These are some exciting focal lengths and aperture combinations, and some hope that being a-APS-C lens-we can see a version for Nikon Z and Canon RF. (So far, we have not seen any full-frame sigma lens for Z or RF Mount, but many APS-C lenses.) Rumors also suggest a fast telephoto prime lens and a travel zoom lens from Sigma, but there is no more information on those lenses yet.

Hasselblad x2D II images leakage
The leaked images suggest that the two versions of Hasselblad X2D will have a pair of new control buttons at the back and slightly updated design. The focus is rumored to be obtained through a new Lidar system, which should improve the focus speed and perhaps the X2D should create a more common-purpose equipment. Fans of Hasselblad’s sensor will give relief to hear that X2D II is expected to maintain 100 MP resolution, with 16-bit color and 15 stops of dynamic range.

Fuji’s X summit is getting hot
I told you last week that Fuji X-E5 was rumored to be declared at Fuji’s upcoming X summit. Now we have some more details. The camera is expected to be announced on 12 June, and should have a 40 megapixel sensor and in-body image stabilization. The rumors also mentions 23 mm pancake lenses-although it is not clear whether this lens will be sold separately, or whether the X-E5 X-E4 will give a deer to the trend and there would be a certain lens. There are also rumors that another camera will also be announced during the summit, so stay!

Good deals and new sales
Popular Benro Mephoto Yatra Tipi is getting a large sale this week, ending in about two days. Only a pair of aluminum models is on sale, but the discount is sufficient – globatrotter It was $ 265 and now $ 95While backpacker classic Gone from $ 170 to $ 80These tripods prefer portability more than maximum stability, and I will not use them in severe air or with a supertelphoto. But if you need something small to travel, I think it is difficult to defeat the price for money here.
If you have Nikon Z Dx camera (ZFC, Z30, Z50, or Z50 II), one of the third-party replacement batteries, which I have advice, is currently on sale of about 20%: Smallrig NP-El25 ($ 50 was, now $ 40)This battery has an underlying USB-C port for direct charging, a useful feature that Nikon has a deficiency of $ 62 En-El25. Smallrig battery can also last a little longer due to its large capacity (1250mAh compared to 1120mAh). unfortunately, Smallrig replacement for Nikon En-El15 Currently not on sale.
Finally, note that Nikon’s camera and lens discounts are ending on 1 June today. (See my roundup Here The best and worst of these discounts.) Personally, I am still optimistic that we will see many of these prices back around Black Friday. But looking at the uncertainty around tariffs and inflation, buying any important gear today can be smart.

National geographical passenger (UK) Results released Among his 12th annual photo competition. Some highlights include a deadlock between a fox and an eagle, a giant glacier in Greenland and a boat of fruit and vegetable traders in the Solomon Islands in the sunset. Take a look and enjoy some inspiration for the week.
Finally, I was happy when a friend of mine recently showed me the photography Artist and toy designer David M Bird, who makes small sculptures of people made of acorn, twigs and other materials found in nature. He installs these “acorn people” out and wait for critters such as birds and squirrels, resulting in some joyous photos that can be captured in a backyard. Take it as an inspiration that good photography can be done anywhere as long as you have a spark of inspiration!
