Eston Martin Tech chief Adrian Ni says he has been instigated by the team faced in Silverstone, but seems to have increased the number to increase its ability to the squad’s aero department.
East Williams, McLaren And the Red Bull Designer, officially began in Aston Martin on March 3 in the newly created role of the technical partner’s management, with a deep focus on achieving the Lawrence Walking team in the best position at the beginning of the 2026 Regulations Chakra.
After a brief period in the headlines in early 2023, Eston Martin has slowly brought back into the pack and has finished a disappointing weather so far, the most recent as the lowest Ib with Miami Grand Prix.
Aston Martin’s on-track fate is thus clearly opposite with the sky-high ambitions of walking in 2025, with several elite level recruitment to operate Aston-edge Silverstone headquarters between many elite levels in recent months and years.
Speaking for the first time, when he picked up his designer Pencil in his bright new glass-wall office, the Newy says he has been encouraged by the dynamic found in silverstone. But he admitted that while the team has received all the latest and largest hardware, the faster end of F1 requires more than deep strength to compete at the fast end of F1.
“Lawrence’s vision has created a great feature – the best feature in F1 – but it is important that we now customize how we use it,” was said by Eston Martin. “F1 is about people. Yes, there are a lot of technology, but it is people who carry out things.
“My previous team was one of the worst wind tunnels in F1 and operated out of an infallible chain of buildings on an industrial estate, but it managed to work together and developed a great group of people.
“We have many talented people – some areas that need to be strengthened with a large number of numbers – and we need to work better by using these devices and to develop our abilities.”

Newey indicated the team’s aero department as an area, which could benefit from increasing its ranks and explained what the current headcon has the effect on developing 2026 cars.
“It is always difficult when you have a major regulation change and all teams are resource-framed, because due to the budget cap and only staffing levels,” they explained.
“A region of our team that needs to be developed is the aerodynamics department. But in the short term it means that we have to decide which directions are going to be the most fruitful and actually focus our resources on them.
“Of course, in doing so, there is always a danger that we have missed an Avenue. Quite times, you have to go a long way under a certain branch, before you know whether it is going to be a fruitful.
“I never like to say to a fellow engineer that they should not move anything forward, but looking at the short time, in this case, I have to do so.”
Newey also expanded its limited participation in the team’s dwindling 2025 fate.
He said, “Lawrence understands that we can also do in 2025, so a small team is still working on this year’s car from an aerology point of view.” “I have talked about some lunch with that small group, discussed the car and what we can do about it.”
